What does it mean when Chiron and Saturn theme is overly emphasized in our relationship??

I have Saturn in 1st house, Chiron in 7th house nataly but so does my partner, our composite chart, and our first meeting chart too.

Does it mean this relationship is not meant to be? Because he and I live in different countries now so it's almost impossible to keep up our relationship as before...it's really frustrating. Should I just give up?
