Seriously, I want to kick amy whinehouse out of the virgo club. i cannot take her behavior anymore, im always disgusted with her. i want to give her a new sign, maybe even one that doesnt exist yet. shes a sign of her own. wtf?

For me it makes sense: Amy is acting out the Virgoean charactre in some extreme way - by neglecting it completely. Like a "negative" to the "positive" (in photo-prints): She is 100%-anti-Virgo - and thereby emphasizing the Virgo-ean ways very strongly - just from the other side of the moon. The opposite sign of Virgo is Pisces - and I guess, Amy is acting like a Super-Ultra-Pisces: Quite talented in the arts (music), extreeeemely sensitive, strongly drawn to liquids/fluids (in her case: alcohol), strong escapist tendencies - and giving a stunning performance of all martyrian dramas one can imagine. Her whole being screams: "I am suffering - help me."

And, to be honest: I find it disgusting how "the world" (that is: all of us) seem to find delight in watching someone suffering and martyring himself like Amy. And at the end possbily ... watch someone dying. I am sick of the jokes people are making about Amy Winehouse. I am not at all a Winehouse-fan. Her music doesn't interest me at all. But I am a person - and I can't stand the yellow press and the average people who are so greedy for "celebrity news", just because their own, safe and secure middle class lifes are so boring, how these PALE people DARE to make fun of another human being someone like this.

Sorry, don't want to offend no one here in person. But I do want to "defend" that girl, Miss Winehouse: Making jokes about her is like kicking a dying dog in the face. It is neither funny, nor genuine, but just mean, and dull, rude and ... limited. It is like on the schoolyard: Belonging to the "ruling clique" - and finding delight in torturing the "outsiders". Weak! Disgusting! Bad, bad karma for those, I suppose ...

Generally, I try to avoid any news that has to do with Amy Winehouse because frankly, I don't give a sh*t if she's in the hospital again.

The thing that annoys me most is the fact that she takes time and effort to make herself look that bad. THE HAIR AND MAKE UP IS SO GOD AWFUL! I really don't care about the drugs, but someone that makes themselves look like that can't possibly be helped, you know?

And I don't care for her music.

Virgo quincuxes my Sun & Mercury.

Virgo is VERY prone to play martyr OR saviour. and amy is trying on both! but it's true that the press is just milking her for everyting they can and those who read and react just feed into it. i say leave the girl alone till she snaps out of it and gets back to music - at which she is VERY VERY GOOD!

WOW, beautifully said Alvarella777, It's unfortunate we live in a world focused on degrading others for personal gain. Everyone is plagued with their own personal demons. Unfortunately, hers are made public due to her vocational choice.

Maybe oneday Amy might alter her life and reestablish her reputation but with all the constant public scrutiny she faces, it will be a difficult task. Good luck to her

I think a lot of people are fascinated by her because not only is she incredibly talented in her own right (like her style or not you have to admit she has something) but she represents one of all of our worst fears - letting our darkside get the best of us, in spite of our potential. She also is a fascination because she dares to delve into the darkest recesses of her psyche, where even at our worst we only imagine, if even that.
I only wish the best for that girl - I'd love to see her perform live someday but at this rate she will soon be dead, or won't be able to get into the states, won't make it onstage if I do buy a ticket, and if she did by some miracle - her performances SUCK now.

Amy Winehouse is an entirely affected 'messed-up' druggy ugly starlet, with an influential manager who makes sure her antics are over-reported in the media, but she's no more than a degenerate adaptation on the old manufactured boyband cliché.

It's a fraud imo. I keep my sympathy for those who don't try and 'inadvertantly' sell depravity as a product.

By all means, expel her from Virgo - you have my support but she's not welcome in either Leo or Libra, so she'd have to emigrate to the other side of the zodiac.

Can we swap her for Angelina please? Her relentless self-promotion is so tiresome. I flick over any news article with her in it, and I get annoyed if here personal life is splattered on the front page of newspapers. Surely there are enough significant things happening in the world to make it unnecessary?

I don't know Amy but I know a self-destructive Virgo. Is it the relentless self-criticism gone in overdrive? He just won't believe me when I tell him he has talent in this and the other. Always sells himself short, and such a handsome man, but drinking and snorting his way to oblivion. *sigh*
