This following Moon to Uranus aspects is from a site I like very much address below. http://members.wizzards.net/~magyan/Moon_Aspects.html quote: Moon conjunct Uranus You may have an unconventional family life and tend to surround yourself with a group of independent and eccentric friends. You tend to be emotionally erratic, unconventional and unpredictable. Your approach to psychology, history, and groups is novel, unusual. Your emotional security comes from personal freedom and a higher vision, and you respond to lifes situations by viewing them from an expanded perspective.Moon opposed Uranus You have little interest in tradition, history or the past. The future is what excites you, and you are very idealistic. Your need to express your individuality and your unconventional attitudes tend to overlook the feelings and needs of others. You have little regard for sentiment. You seem to enjoy the shock effect, and go out of your way to challenge whatever is traditional and customary. You may not receive support from those around you, as they perceive you as unpredictable or difficult to understand. Moon trine or sextile Uranus You are very original when it comes to your home and the environment you create for yourself. Your mother may have been quite eccentric or your upbringing somehow unconventional. When you have breakthroughs, they often come as insights about your support system and emotional security issues. This aspect could also manifest in your finding new and different ways to make a living. You may have unique ideas about the past, both personal and collective. You enjoy surrounding yourself with what is new and different. Moon square Uranus Your insistence on being different and the general nonconformity you display might result in your being alienated from those who would otherwise support you. You are insistent on your independence, which often creates a lot of emotional tension. Expressions of individuality are often at the expense of your emotional security. Your need to be different can cause hurt feelings or misunderstandings. Moon quintile Uranus You have a natural talent for bringing out the individuality in others and supporting their expressions of uniqueness. Your own independence and uniqueness will be supported by those around you, and the results will be highly creative. You are a natural meditator, and have frequent insights and breakthroughs. Moon septile Uranus Your path of personal growth will be highly unusual, with many breakthroughs and insights that will alter your destiny. The early influences in your life strongly supported your individuality, and you feel quite comfortable following your inner spiritual guidance to your highest fulfillment. You find much support for your unique, individual path, though it might often be invisible support. Moon quincunx Uranus Your emotional security needs often seem to be incompatible with your expressions of individuality and independence. You have a very innovative and unconventional side, the expression of which can adversely affect the stability of your home situation, or simply not fit into your life style without sacrificing the support of those you depend upon. Your attempts to resolve this dilemma will require frequent adjustments and adaptations.

On my chart the Moon is 9 degrees away from Uranus, applying. Too wide for an aspect, really, to most points of view. Faint as it may be some of it seems to feel right. Though Uranus is in a Grand Trine with Sun and Mars in Aqua, so maybe that is why? I'm not the most conventional person around. Eccentric is actually a good word for my mother, but not in the let your kids do what the hell they like sense. My husband has Moon Trine Uranus. His mother was not unconventional and erratic, certainly not. The opposite. She has a Virgoan stellium that loves to timetable and structure life as much as possible. As an early teen he went to military boarding school, which he liked. It was a more freedom-loving environment than home. His Moon Trines my M.C, his Uranus is Conjunct it. My Virgoan timetabling tendencies are channelled into my career, as a librarian. At home things are Piscean chaos. There is no chance of your belongings being swept up and tidied away into a cupboard whilst you visit the bathroom. It will happen at his mother's house. Thinking about it years later, I think I subconciously chose a partner who was a workaholic and who would leave me to get on with things. In another era I would have married a sailor. Maybe he could still get a job on an oil rig, he's too old for the navy. In a relationship the thing that would make me run away fastest would be possessiveness. *shudder* Neglect I can tolerate quite happily. He seems to have a fear of being told to do anything on order. I only do it when necessary, generally at the dictat of legal deadlines, that kind of thing. Ovulation is also something that doesn't happen on whim, "boot camp" he called it. IP: Logged |

Hi BlueMoon,I'd say that if you feel that wide conjunction, go ahead and count it. There are lots of astrologers who consider widening the orb of influence if one of the planets is the Sun or the Moon. There are times when it's alright to think of the chart as pliable or stretchy, more organic than just a stiff unyielding blueprint. If the shoe fits, wear it. IP: Logged |

It does seem to fit. I do feel like I am feeling some of the heat from the fire, even if I am standing some distance from the hearth. Or should that be coolness from the fridge? IP: Logged |

I agree with Geocosmic. I'm bit of an orbs nazi but I think that expanding doesn't hurt once in a while, esp if sun/moon is involved. As in the present case....my partner has moon at 10 sco, ura at 3 deg sco (both in the 11th) and I definitely think that he expresses moon-ura conj. He is a kooky guy emotionally and otherwise...Btw the reason why he likes me is because I'm like his mum. I'm aqu sun squ ura myself. And coincidentally, I seem to attract men with ura aspects to their venus or moon (mostly the hard ones). IP: Logged |
