What makes you run for the hills in a relationship? As mentioned elsewhere, in a rambling commentary on the influence of Uranus in my life, Possessiveness is the quality that would make me run off fastest. And I have Venus in Taurus. Opposite the Ascendant (Scorpio). But Square Mars in Aqua who asserts himself all over my chart, barging into everyone except Saturn. Maybe the influence of Venus without undue interference is my distaste for Bad Manners. I'm sure mine aren't always perfect, but I do appreciate people making an effort. Any deal breakers illuminating the effect of Venus on your chart? IP: Logged |

Just for sunshine_lionA friend of mine was once married to a man who one year took just two showers. That's right, that was him and hygiene for that year. Though, he was quite insistent that he cleaned his teeth once a day. How she could bear sleeping with him I don't know, whether that is sharing bed space or the other. Well she had a child by him so she must have done. IP: Logged |

Hmmmmmmmmmmm Venus in Pisces in the 10th square to Jupiter/Neptune in Sag.....Most of the time my T-square with Sun-Mars and Uranus is active so most of the time I REALLY REALLY try very hard to avoid relationships altogether! Venus in pisces goes too much on a pity trip and collects men who are bad for me.....settling for somebody who I shouldn't be settling with.......but yeah, most of the time my Cardinal T square is mostly active with relationships.....ID IP: Logged |

I have an unaspected venus on the galactic centre (in sag/9th). Jupiter its depositor is in the 1st (conj AC). Coincidentally venus is the ruler of my libran DC. I cannot stand religion bashers and narrow minded people. What I mean by religious bashers is that anyone who bashes the philosophies any form of religion/theories/metaphysics and who can't separate human action in relation to religion from religious theory/philosophy. I also hate middle class ideals and morals too. A snob I am indeed. If you are a girl and would like to talk to me about Sex & The City with your square cut french nails or a guy who wants to talk to me in your Quiksilver Boardies with a copy of Ralph or Zoo in your hands, expect me with a sawn-off shotgun at your house in a few days time. Sophisiticated and broad minded males need only apply. IP: Logged |

Lara - what would happen if Mr future Lara has mars in libra that opposed your venus. Mr future Lara might be a bit indecisive with his Libra mars. IP: Logged |

Only thing that would make me run is if they are not a nice person to be around. ie. A ***** . (or female dog if that got bleeped out)Can take other bad habits as its more the person that Im interested in. Not what they do or do not do. IP: Logged |

Yes a*holes and b*ches are hard to take. That would be criteria no. 1 for me, then the saggie stuff (I suppose that's my libran DC in action). IP: Logged |

yeah i hate the ones that are also too self contained and play games by playing hard to get and backing away from the relationship just for the sake of playing cat and mouse. I hate those sort of games. I love fun games in a relationship ones where im smiling and he has me thinking but i hate being paranoid and it ruins my mood if hes trying to make me chase him.. Id tell him to get over himself and show him the door eventuallyIP: Logged |

What if Sex and the City IS my religion!?!?!!!
mostly kiddding Libra with Venus conjunct Uranus in Libra, and my IC in Venus ruled Taurus...
I guess in a vague and general way it would be if the guy isn't too smart, is without integrity, and (shhhh.... ) doesn't pay enough attention to me.

in BT covered a good chunk quote: namedroppers, arrogance, narrow-mindedness, racism, double-standards, crudeness, intolerance, insensitivity, me-me-meism
With a Leo Asc, I can understand the Me-o Me-o Me-o angle and it doesn’t repel me totally unless it’s to a narcissistic degree. Unnecessary crudeness is a total turn-off. You’ll hear me say “pardon my ‘French’” at times when I’ve turned the air blue with passionate language, but someone who cannot complete a sentence without a rude expletive in it is a verbal cripple whom I will ignore thereafter. Inconsistency can drive me crazy, although I’ve been known to get used to it I want someone to keep their word if they give it, and not change their mind every day – I like stability (but that doesn’t negate spontaneity). Rudeness and inconsideration of others is an immediate turn-off. If you’re rude to the waitress, Goodbye. Don’t patronize me or try a patriarchal tack – I already have a father. If your mind isn’t at least somewhat open to new ways of thinking, I’ll be on my way.IP: Logged |

Aqua Venus in the 12th, conj. Asc.Dripping with overthinking and emotional - be a MAN, thank you very much... Although I don't run for the hills. I get more aggresive and masculine, wanting the guy to buck up and face me down. (Considering I'm 5'2" and 115 lbs.) Sigh. That could be my Sag moon though. Or Cappy sun? SOMEONE's gotta wear the pants! lol. IP: Logged |

Ok, you're all witness to that death threat, right??? *goes to check the locks on my doors...* Ok, well, I think I've done my nails before while watching but if that puts me on the death list then uh... no... no... no girly stuff at allllll...... I'm too 8th house to be totally pink and fluffy, *though it is a fine disguise...* *raises the villain eyebrow* so I think you would let me live... *or I would let YOU live* *eyebrow* IP: Logged |

Stagnation in a relationship/not reaching any new levels.Plus flakiness/fickleness. I like to know I'm loved. And I hate to say it, but if I feel like you're going no where in life, I'll probably leave. I have Venus in the 10th in Pisces square Saturn/Uranus (0 degrees) and Mars (8 degrees) and my ASC (2 degrees). Venus rules my 5th house (Libra) and 12th house (Taurus). DSC in Sagittarius, Jupiter in Aries in the 11th. Interestingly enough I can deal with narrow-mindedness and stupidity, even though it's everything I try not to be (Sun conj Mercury in Aqua in the 9th, Gem rising). My Venus is in a perceiving sign (to use Myers-Briggs terminology), so I try to understand narrow-mindedness. I mean, as long as the person has other redeeming qualities. But I am not attracted to poor dressers (don't really care about hygiene) or people who wear boring clothes (Leo ruling 3rd house of expression? Moon in 5th in Libra). I like flashy guys (flashy in an untacky way obviously). I guess it's the Venus in the 10th. I'm snobby when it comes to externalities (things people can help like clothing style and taste in entertainment & buyer behavior), but not people's personalities. IP: Logged |
