There`s a method, developed in Austria, called the API or Huber-school. It`s quite different to other systems, and it exclusively uses Koch houses.

they use the so called "Nodal-
charts", they say, such a Nodal chart gives you informations over
your past lives and karmic things.
You can go to astrocom, in the extended selection you can go to chart
drawing style, and then click on Huber Nodes chart.
This chart puts your Node on the cusp of the 1st house and places the
planets accordingly, the difference to other systems is, that the
zodiac gets reversed. You know the order of the starsigns are
reserved, so, after aries would come pisces and so on. They do that,
because the nodes are always retograde, going backwards, and
therefore symbolize the past of ones soul. I thought this was
actually quite convincing.
However, you can do an easier calculation.

The positions of the planets are actually the exact solstice point (reflected over 00° Aries) of your Draco-planetary positions, projected onto the houses.

Example:

My Draco Sun is on 16° Aries.
The solstice point would be 14° Pisces.

Pisces equals the 12th house (in this system), so the Sun in my nodal chart (according to Huber) would be 14° in the 12th house.

Another example:

My Draco Moon on 07° Gemini. If I mirror that over 00° Aries, I`ll get the position of 23° Capricorn.
Capricorn equals the 10th house, so my nodal Moon is on 23° of the 10th house.

This nodal chart is a picture of your past life experiences and soul journey (very similiar to the Dracò`s).

Another chart they "invented" is the House-chart. You can actually calculate on which degree of a certain house your planets are positioned.
You don´t have to rack your brain though. Just go to astro.com.
Go to the extended selection, choose as chart drawing style "Huber House chart".
View the additional tables.
Look at the colum "house degree", there you will find your exact house degree of any planet or asteroid you chose.

The house-chart relates more to the environment of one person and how you are effected by it or effect it and how others see you and react to you.

The Huber`s advise to use Koch houses, but I am sure it works with Placidus as well.

So, now you can make something that the Hubers call "click"-charts;
it`s their favourite style of horoscope-comparision.
You put up the nodal charts for both persons, and then you look if
planets are placed in the same houses or the opposite houses (they
only look at conjunctions and opposites) and if they are actually in
aspect (I limit the orb to 5°) here.
Those are the places, where two people "click" with each other.
If you do this with the nodal chart, you can see the karmic
connections between persons.

(of course the aspects will be the same as between your two Draconic charts, as both charts are derived by putting the NN onto 00° Aries).

For a acomparision you can use:

1. natal - natal chart (the traditional synastry)
2. housechart - housechart
3. nodal chart - nodal chart
4. housechart - nodal chart
5. nodal chart - housechar

So, according to them, the comparision of both housecharts ist the
most important ones, since it reflects the real-life-situation of a
relationship. Also, I want to add, this one should be highly
individual, since it refers to the time of birth and the houses.

The nodal - nodal comparision shows the karmic connection of two
people and their past lives.

A comparison of nodal - house chart would show, where the karmic
chart of one person touches the present life of the other one. The
karmic connection is brought to light, I guess.

WEll, as sceptical as I am on some of the ideas of the Huber-school, those housecharts are pretty interesting. Try it out!
They delivered very intriguing results in most cases I tried.

And if we are comparing planets on the degrees of the signs, why not projecting this onto the houses?
Every planet occupies a certain degree on a sign AND also a certain degree in a house; I think both may be important.

It`s also interesting to see when aspects in your natal changes.

For example I have a Venus - Pluto-square in the normal chart, in my house chart (Koch) it becomes a trine.
Maybe that is the reason, that I feel I have a vehement internal struggle, but my enironment doesn`t see it as tragically as I do?

It also seems like the tension of my Venus-Pluto-squared is smoothed alot, when it comes to the surface in contacts with other people, and really feels more like a Venus-pluto-trine in relation to other people.

So, we could maybe say that the planets in signs and their aspects tell us a lot about what happens internally, while the aspects in the housechart tell us, how these internal feelings / thoughts / processes are expressed towards others and reflected back (by our friend`s, lover`s, family´s or enemie`s reaction to us).

In my case the natal Pluto-NN-sextile that I have always felt much more dramatic than a sextile should, and what happens?
In the housechart it becomes a square, because Pluto sits on the MC and NN sits on the ASC - a very dominant square actually.

Yes, it is interesting, even though I don`t trust it completely, since they use Koch-houses, and this is the one system I would NEVER use and don`t believe in.

However, the concept is intriguing.

I do think that the house-charts will work out of this system, too, highlighting more the environment than the innate potential.
