I know typical astrology says Mars conj Sun in synastry is suppose to be very sexual. I have this between someone, and we have clashed mostly. I would never ever assume he wanted me sexually. Whats your experience with this one?

My Mars is conjunct the Sun of this guy I was just seeing and who really burned me. What an a-hole he is. Anyway, everything about us was sexual..but we had a few other aspects contributing it this.

perhaps he was an ******* to you because you gave into him to easily. and maybe he was hoping for something lets say more challenging and promising.

ouch seeing stars. a bit blunt there - i thought you were a cancer merc

anyways, i've never been extremely sexually attracted to pisces men (i'm mars in pisces 20º), and most of the men in the latter pisces decanate i've generally clashed with. however, with my aries 7th house / pisces mars, i generally fall for aries men in the first decanate with a little pisces in them somewhere. i get along far better with aries men than pisces men. unusual? perhaps.

If you're an a-hole then you're an a-hole and blaming other people's sexuality for your bad manners is passing the buck.

Mars and the Sun, are very strong archetypes that can produce a lot of vitality if the people are not engaging in power struggles. If the two people exchange and share their strenghts instead fighting compromise, it can get messy. The Sun doesn't want to compromise because of his pride. Mars doesn't want to compromise either because no one rules him. So, the only place that they probably don't argue is the bedroom.

I find that aspect kind of boyish lol

When the guy is the Sun - he sees the girl as very masculine. So he either treats her like a male friend or a male enemy.

When the guy is Mars it plays out better, but there is still a very man2man bond happening - which is not what you'd expect of the typical relationship. Both the Sun and Mars represent masculine facets to the personality.

The sexual attraction, is more so energy-based, I think. Kinda like if you had a good friend of the same gender and you always did a lot of highly energetic things together - and over night they were transformed into the opposite gender, you might feel attracted - because the same energy that was always generated between you, would go into something more sexual. (that's if you *are* attracted to the opposite sex, if not - the situation would be in reverse for you)

Anyhoo, I'm trying to say it's all about energy, not sexual attraction as such.
The most sexually attractive aspects in my experience are masculine planet to feminine planet.. regardless of which of the individuals is male/female.

I would imagine that Asc conjunct Mars would have a similar effect, no?

I have a double whammy Sun square Mars (I'm thinking this is a lot like the conjunction but more abrasive) aspect with my boyfriend. I've always thought he was hot.

Our arguments are ridiculously heated and frequent, though. We both have Mercuries in Aquarius (and my Sun is in Aqua, his moon is in Leo), so we're both stubborn as hale.

I think the conjunction would be more helpful. Like the Mars person pushes the Sun person to be more active, or maybe the Sun directs Mars's energies.

I'm sorry, SS, I thought you were a male? You know as well as I know that guys can just be plain as*holes (and girls can be b*tches).

Plus a lot of sexual contacts (like Venus/Mars, Mars/Mars, Sun/Mars, Venus/Pluto) have a quarrelsome side.

I met a man in a club with this contact. I sure gave in easily.

We have all the sexual contacts mentioned by Amowls: Venus/Mars square, Mars/Mars opposition, Sun/Mars conjunct, Venus/Pluto square - and we certainly have a quarrelsome side. We also have Sun square Pluto exact.

To be more correct he has Sun CNJ Saturn conjunct my Mars. It builds up into an interesting picture with a Grand Cross.

Mars and Saturn together doesn't have the best reputation. But in the context of this synastry, with the Sun joining in on the action, I think one of the expressions is that I settled down earlier than I expected with someone older and career-minded. And it gives some direction and structure to my troublesome Venus/Mars/Asc T-Square.

quote:

Interesting comment ~ he says I have a man's personality. He says it is because my dad treats me like I am another son. I repeated this to my father, who looked puzzled and said, "well how was I supposed to treat you?" My dad has Moon around the same part of the zodiac, so we have a family Sun CNJ Moon CNJ Mars.

The sign? Aquarius, of course!

I became an ass**** today because the guy in the service station didn't hand me change in a classy way. It was tacky and bordering on trashy, the way he flung that coin at me. He deserved turning me into an ass*****. In fact, the lady in the supermarket didn't look at me in a classy way, so it made me an ass*****.

I'm tired of all the dorks out there, not having any class - it really turns me into an ass**** and it's ALL THEIR FAULT!!!!!!!

I may take my protests higher, maybe to my local Member of Parliament. I will complain at the lack of class in society and the effect it's having on me. I really don't want to be an ass****, but the power of cheap trashy folk over my peace of mind is destructive. It eats me up, irritates me and before you know it, I've become an ass****.

If they're not challenging enough, I'll become an ass****

If they can promise the world, I'll become an ass*****

If they can't pander to my intolerance, I'll become an ass****

If they melt with passion in my arms too easily, I'll become an ass****

If they breath into my ear, they have certainly let me down - I'll become an ass*****

Anyone want a relationship with me?

..snarky.

I like it. Koiflower in one statement you are confusing passion with lust. I can understand your misconception though. I can help you work on that as soon as we start that relationship your looking for. deal?

O.K, a test from Mrs Virgo M.C.

First off, we can easily see the differences between these Saturday night sentences containing your and you're:

Your ~> Your knob is big.

You're ~> You're a big knob.

But now the test. Which sentence spells disappointment for the eager young lady being escorted home after an evening at the Rubgy Club bar? Is it:

A. Their big knobs.

or is it

B. They're big knobs.

?

ASC person would be completely receptive, they would love the sexual attention mars is giving to them but couldn't reciprocate. Mars is purely the energy here, it has to drive the situation to place it wants to be (sex) (unless there are other factors in the chart).

LMAO @ BM - my HK girlfriend would say the big knobs

Mars -sun - mars is cardinal and driven, sun is fixed and egotistical. Mars has sexual attraction for sun. Sun appreciates the ego boost and shines upon mars. My mars is conj my partner's sun/venus. I guess we are competitive with each other but his venus makes it better as well as the many other planets hovering around in aspect (non-conjunctions).

This reminds me of the time I spent a pleasurable evening with a gentleman admirer. I noticed his bedside reading material was a guide on 'how to improve your grammar'. How my heart sang.
