Is now finally direct and heading for Capricorn.
YAY!
Jupiter AND Pluto Stationary Direct September 2008 Impacting October For All Signs - Saying Goodbye, Moving Ahead, Finding A New Rhythm and Perspective
by Robert Wilkinson
This is the point in time so many have been waiting for! Finally, Pluto begins its movement out of Sagittarius into Capricorn for the last time this long cycle, and Jupiter moves forward in lockstep trine with Saturn until the end of 2008. The stationary points are significant and will impact us for months to come.
Another factor to keep in mind is that Mercury is slowing toward its retrograde station at 23 Libra on September 24. While this may slow down things associated with Mercury, Gemini, and Virgo, in general affairs should begin to feel like they're back on track now that these two outer planets have again begun to move forward, especially now that Saturn has hit full speed ahead for its period in mid-Virgo.
Though Saturn ruled-affairs will move forward quite nicely due to the prevailing Earth harmony, favoring practical, stabilized, organized attention to the details of any plan, there will be revisions and new insights as Mercury, ruler of the sign Saturn's in, does retrograde. Expect things from the past to emerge, especially in the halls of power.
Especially since Mercury will be RX in Libra from September 24 through October 15-16, you can expect that past imbalances, injustices, and warped perspectives will be revisited and judged accordingly. I suspect that double standards will be exposed, insincere glibness will suffer reversals with an eye to past perspectives, and new initiatives and forms of caring will come to pass.
It is said in Astrology that a chart done for any event shows the future potentials to be brought forth utilizing the energies of that event. A cursory glance at the configurations going on as Jupiter and Pluto go direct shows Mercury-Venus-Mars conjunct square Jupiter, a very strong releasing agent for whatever form of self-transcendence Jupiter promises at 13 Capricorn.
It is a degree of getting firmly established on time-honored principles and universal standards, and a self-conquering that can lead to a "depth of Soul penetration" leading to a greater sense of unity. The squares can help us de-fuse "bombs" and stir up new perspectives. Some will become frustrated, juvenile, and fearful of potentials, while others will get creative, flexible, and strong.
The squares from Mercury conjunct Mars (slow down!) coupled with Venus also forming waning quintiles to Pluto on its stationary degree, the last time we have to "get in shape" and through determination become fit for some goal. This is a degree of persistence that brings forth dependability. We've been doing this dance since February 2007, the first time Pluto hit this degree, and coincidentally, where it went stationary retrograde that March.
These far-reaching transformational seeds are now planted, and have begun to sprout since then every time a planet conjuncted that point. Jupiter expanded the growth potential for years to come December 2007. This set a pulse that will be expanded significantly this December, since it will be the first time that the Sun, Mercury, and Mars will cross the Sag conjunction point since Jupiter conjuncted Pluto.
These seeds of growth into a greater fitness have been stimulated by the Eclipses since early 2007, even as many things fell apart to make room for this growth pattern. Jupiter's organizing quality in Capricorn is now giving substances and structure to many of those seeds.
Quintiles bring forth the "quintessence" of a thing. Waning quintiles are the fulfilled special qualities of the cycle rapidly closing in on the next conjunction. Mercury, Venus, and Mars together bring rapid understanding and connections, active elegant coordinations that help the balance to shift quickly. Venus is the strongest force here, since she is in her home sign.
There should be many unique circumstances appear to us all over the next few months, whether in the form of people, opportunities, or perspectives. Take especial note the second week of October, as well as the last few days of the month, since you'll understand these gifts and unique conditions a lot better by then.
The second week of October is very important due to another major factor. At that point Mars and Saturn will join Neptune and Pluto in activating 4 points of the Grand Irrationality, and the Moon a 5th as it passes through Aries and Gemini. This means it'll be a point of choice and change, so remember that if things get a little crazy, it's still okay as long as obsessive or compulsive behaviors don't mess up a perfectly good situation.
A couple of final notes, the first for astrologers still pondering the charts for the stations: The biggest differences in the charts are that Jupiter went direct with Moon in Sag conjunct Pluto just before the exact Jupiter trine Saturn, Mercury square Jupiter, and conjunction with Mars. However, Pluto went direct after those aspects with only Venus square Jupiter and Moon in Capricorn conjunct Jupiter, square Venus, and trine Saturn. These are significant differences that should be factored into any in-depth interpretation of possible meanings. (I'm not going to go into more detail, whether specifically or in general, since that would take too much time to explore.)
Second, be sure to get your ducks lined up, as "they" say, since Mercury is in fact beginning to slow down in motion. I'll be writing extensively on the coming Mercury retrograde over the next several weeks, so stay tuned.
