Hi guys, I haven't been online in a while >School started! ..yay, but I'm seeing some interesting 'theories' out there about synastry, romance and soul mates! Which is why I've decided to post this now..
In the last few weeks I've managed to become very intimate (emotionally, rather than physically) with a guy I met through a good friend of mine. I thought our relationship was great, because he is very serious about dating, very spiritual, and serious about matters alike. But our relationship feels 'more' than our synastry shows. Usually, I find that it's the opposite! I've been looking at the most important aspects in synastry, put forth by you guys! (and cafeastrology) but I can't really seem to find anything significant.. more than I've found in any of the not-as-enralling relationships I've had in the past. So I guess my quesiton is about "what" this relationship really is... maybe something romantic? or just spiritual? or karmic??
I was hoping you guys could take a look? I think my strong neptune may really be in on this one  Thanks! any insight is greatly appreciated! Here's our synastry... Oh, and I'm on the inside

Hey!There are some aspects indicating affection/possible relationship - like Moon opposite Moon. His Moon conjunct your NN (said to be karmic). Opposite Ascendant/Descendant axis. Your Sun trine his Moon. His Mars/Mercury trines your Moon. That being said, it looks comfortable and maybe friendly. Trines are in tune, they work well - but they're not very challenging. I'm not sure if I see this as a potential romance. I could see you guys getting together but maybe not for a very long time. Ultimately, I think you're more likely to stay friends. I'm saying this because there is a lot happening on an emotional - Moon level, but not much at all on a Venus level.
It depends on what you are both looking for. This won't be a flash in the pan thing. As you said - it's more emotionally intimate, rather than sexual and that's exactly what the synastry looks like. You do have some Saturn aspects. Your Saturn trine his Mars/Mercury & square his Mars. His Saturn sextile yours. I think a friendship could be enduring. Sexually, the problems are: that Mars/Saturn aspect (he could feel inhibited) and the lack of Venus aspects. Also, a bunch of his planets (including Venus/Mars) are in your 11th which indicates friendship. Your Venus in his 8th may just save the day sexually. I should say, Astrology is always an indication. You know him, and you'd know best. There are relationships out there lacking the traditional Venus aspects and Venus/Mars connections. My opinions are purely based on the chart. Your relationship can be whatever you choose to make it, at the end of the day. IP: Logged |

Thank you for your reply CF  His mars/saturn aspect is definately playing out in our relationship. Turns out that my Venus in his 8th did save the day - but not exactly. He told me a few days ago that it's difficult for him to call me, to 'chill' with me because he's scared of the sexual tension that he feels between us. He said that he doesn't know what he would do if we ever saw each other again, even though he's addicted to the feeling somehow, and he knows that together we would make magic. Sigh, oh well. Moon conjunct NN is pretty powerful. I've always experienced it as feeling as though I bonded with the person before we met. And it is indeed very karmic.IP: Logged |
