Hey everyone!

Hope you could help out my friend for me. She is doing a report, I won't even GET into explaining it but she needs examples, astrology-wise, of 'heartbreak' aspects in combined charts (synastry, composite, etc as long as it's a union of two).

These are aspects that could indicate heartbreak for both people or one (like how Magi suggests, however she doesn't want Magi's opinion right now, just normal astrology).
Opinions and experiences are welcome, my pal has a lot of other things to ask but she's doing one at a time, so I'll be asking more questions on behalf of her later).

(I know this is astrology and doesn't compare to 'real life', but she is specifically answering the question of heartbreak aspects/planets/asteroids/transits within astrology).

Also sorry if someone has brought this up in other posts, the search isn't working for me.

I've had bad luck w/ Venus square Venus. Seriously sucks..it's hard to adjust and accept someone w. a totally different style of expression, likes, etc. Moon opp. Pluto isn't that lovely either. Unfortunately I have both these aspects (along w/ a few other harsh ones) w/ someone I really care for. Not the smoothest ride, ever, not by a long shot..

Experience tells me that transiting Saturn conjuncting the descendant of the composite chart. Yeouch!!

If either partner is remotely disgruntled with the relationship then this transit is a kicker.

I only know that once I broke a partner's heart by leaving him standing there ... and in Synastry we had his Saturn squaring my Sun and my Mars - I felt caged in somehow - and he felt completely lost when I went away.

Just recently, in my last relationship, it was the other way around - it was me who felt abandoned somehow, and probably my partner who felt "caged in". This time is was my Saturn squaring his Sun and his Mercury.

From these two intensive personal experiences, I'd say: If in Synastry Person A's Saturn is squaring one or more of Person B's personal planets ... then the Saturn person might soon develop some dependency/clingyness ... while the other person might feel stifled or blocked soon.

This may be hurting for both of them - and in my experience, it is Person B, who feels caged in, that is seeking for freedom sooner or later and might leave the other out in the open somehow....

They say, that a Saturn-square in Synastry can be a "binding" force in a relationship and an indicator dor "stability" - but I'm afraid that this might be true for the Saturn-person only, he/she might not be able to imagine a life without the other anymore ... while the other person might feel suffocated in a way. (Of course, there might be other factors who lessen the effect of such a strict Saturn-square. In any case: I, personally, would look out if I found that again in one of my future Synastries ....)

Does anyone place any value on the whole "Heartbreak linkages" on the Magi site? I think they involve Saturn/Chiron, Saturn/Neptune, and Saturn/Venus...

My Venus in Leo in the 4th conjuncted by his Uranus. Instant attraction and love, which disappeared 8 months later as quickly as it started, when he decided to dabble in illegal drugs, which he obtained on his job site.
