so i recently talked to some family in england, i dont really know but talk to once and a blue moon. guess theyre coming out to the states in november and will be visiting(yay, very happy to meet them)...they said i could come visit them anytime...well ive never met them, and id really love to go for a week in october, but theres a mercury retrograde, and i really dont want the first time i meet them to be during a retrograde? what do u think? never good experiences meeting people for the first time during mercury retrogrades.

Go for it. Going on vacation during Mercury retro is actually good. Just be extra careful, double check everything and be patient with possible delays and glitches, etc.

I know little about transits, but aren't there some things that a retro Mercury is actually better suited for than a direct one? Maybe connecting with distant relatives is one of those cases.

could depend on the airline your flying with ..
they might go bust when your half way across the atlantic ..
