Hey Lindalanders,

I'm looking for any references anyone might have on what moonphase is optimum for planting crops etc... I suppose the more in-depth the better, so it doesn't necessarily HAVE to be moonphase, but anything on applying the wisdom of the heavens to plantcare.

For instance I've heard that planting seeds while the moon is in Taurus will produce nice hearty plants... But really I have no other knowledge on the subject than this.

Any help would be appreciated! And to all my longtime friends here I say "Hello!"

Hi, beebuddy!

If you want to learn about the basics of biodynamic gardening I would suggest Maria Thun's "Gardening for Life". You can take a look here:
http://www.amazon.com/Gardening-Life-Biodynamic-Introduction-Harvesting/dp/1869890329

Once you've learned the basics you'll need the calendar; it makes it easier to know when to do what.

I hope this helps. Have fun growing your own healthy, natural, happy veggies!
