Has anyone here ever dealt with relocation charts? Any tips on how to interpret them or personal experience are welcome.
More specifically, I wonder if when relocating one's personality changes and they become more like their relocation chart. And does it make sense to overlay relocation and natal charts and see where relocation angles and house cusps fall?

Where I live most of the people are immigrants, many of them long-time immigrants, so I use relocated charts pretty much exclusively for those people.

I do look at the natals for childhood events and occurrences though. They should be looked at.

Interpret the relocated charts just as you would a natal chart.

Does it also mean that transits should be applied to the relocation chart and not the natal one?

I read somewhere that transits should be applied to natal chart only i.e. relocation chart transits are not supposed to work...but i dont know for sure.

If the person has been living for a very long time in the new place, I use the transits to the relocated chart for current situations. The transiting planets in the natal houses seem to no longer apply in my opinion. I live on the west coast of Canada. Most of the people I have done charts for are from Europe, Scandinavia, and Asia, so their relocated charts are very different from their natal ones.

Try both charts, if you want, to see what works best for the client/person in question. The rules aren't set in stone.
