I like children and they like me too, most likely due to the following:

-I look young, nice and non-intimidating
-I act like a kid around them
-I am very affectionate with them

My husband adores children and he has the following aspects:

Sun in Cancer in 7th house (ruled by Gemini)
Moon in Libra in 10th house (ruled by Libra)
Sagittarius Ascendant (ruled by Jupier in 8th, ruled by Cancer)

He also has Mars and Venus in Gemini, and he's super popular with children.

Overall, I'd say important placements associated with Gemini, Cancer, Aquarius and Sagittarius, would indicate an affinity with children.

I also have North Lunar Node in Aquarius in 5th trine Midheaven with 45 minutes of arc. That could be it too...especially with South Neptune Node conjunct the North Lunar Node.

I have Mercury in Sagittarius and Uranus in Capricorn in the 5th house, with a Leo ascendant. Sagittarius sun, too. I'm basically a little kid myself.

I have also done a lot of advisory/mentoring work with teenagers, I feel a great affinity with teens, I guess its because that period was the happiest in my life.

I really do not have a good 5th house. Pluto and Uranus are in it and they are in Virgo. They are both in opposition to the moon and saturn.

The kids do like me and always want to be around me, sometimes it is mentally exhausting!

My husband teaches third grade and coaches. Everyone LOVES him.

I've had an interesting relationship with kids. When I was younger, I didn't 'coo' over babies and little kids like all the other girls, however I ALWAYS had kids clinging to me.

I knew if I never got married, I wanted to at least have a child, and now that I'm a bit older, I just love nannying children.

I'm curious now, because I have two nephews I would die to protect, no matter what, and love them dearly. I found my aspects with them interesting-

Younger boy
My venus trines his Mars
My Ceres/Uranus conjunct his Pluto
Ceres trine to his moon as well as his Sun (it makes a grand trine

Older boy
Venus to his Moon, Sun and Chiron
My Ceres conjunct his Pluto
Ceres trine to his Mars
Ceres trine to his venus

I liked that.

The nodes in the 5th house, I'd go for that, I've seen it in people who go like mush over little kids.
