My surgery date is Oct.17, will this be a good day?

Well, Merc will be out of retro by then. Probably will be OK, although you may not feel the full effects of the treatment until November,(when Sun moves into Scorpio) although Mars and Venus (I believe) will still be in Scorpio, accenting all things "reproductive". This is likely to be an ongoing theme or something you'll be exceptionally preoccupied with at this time, especially given Saturn's position in Virgo. I'd probably give it until late Nov to see some real headway being made, when the Sun in Scorp will trine your Sun.

I'm mobile right now so I won't pull up the chart but make sure it is not a full Moon. Full Moon promotes heavy bleeding. Don't panic if you have no choice, it's better if you wait a few days after.

According to "Electional Astrology: the art of timing" (Joann Hampar), surgery is ruled by 8th and 1st. For surgery involving "beauty", strong venus should be present as well. If hospitalisation is required, consider the 12th as well.

In comparison to your natal chart, I've often had surgery committed on me when mars was in my 6th, and you have that in your transit. Pluto in your 8th (for a long time) is ok as well. The moon has a good chance of transiting in the 1st on that day, combined with what Geo said, hmmm. Ruler of your 8th is opp pluto at the moment, despite all what I have said, you should draw up the actual chart of the surgery. That would give you a lot of information.

Using moon calculator: http://stardate.org/nightsky/moon/

17 October - full moon is on 16th and it will be on the wane on 17th

let me ask you this:

One of the risks is internal bleeding, I definately don't want that. It will be a full moon on the 17th of oct. Would you reschedule it until the 24th if you had the option?

My surgery will be in the morning, between 6 and 9 am.

OOOOO! I really got excited when I read November looks good as I had a different type reading done and November was the month mentioned! I am praying that this surgery works!!!!

THANKS sooooo much for your help, if you need help with interior design, I can help you there!

Well because there is a 3hr gap, that could dramatically shift the asc and chart and I don't know where (geographical location) where your operation will take place. All I can say is what I have said about the moon. You should wait for Geo to come back and ask her. The fact that the moon will be waning from the previous day's full moon is something but really I'm not experienced enough in electional astrology or moon cycles.

thank-you!

I'll be having surgery in Knoxville, Tn by a fertiltity specialist.

They won't tell me the time until 24 hours BEFORE surgery and I bet it will be too late to reschedule by then.

Hi Haybelly,

I would definitely reschedule since the Moon is practically full on the day that's scheduled now. I would reschedule for the 24th. But I haven't read those links that Astroleolady has posted yet, I'm looking forward to reading that information.

Good luck with your surgery

[EDIT] Haybelly, I just read a portion of some of the posted information. I'm not going to advise you of anything because this is a medical procedure that is serious and I'm not concentrating enough really make an informed choice. If you're serious about checking the stars for a surgical date, don't go the FREE astrological route.

I just looked at the chart that Blue Moon posted and at a glance realized that I could be sending you from one bad date to a worse date. Now, mind you, I didn't look carefully and that's why I'm saying to do this the right way. Get a professional astrologer to do this. We're all grateful you're allowing us to learn from your chart and your situation, but I just got a huge pang of responsibility/safety issues around this.

hmmmmmm, well, this isn't too good.

I have to admit I am a bit discouraged, I wish the wish of a baby would just go away. It has been a long year, I just don't understand the problem.......

I can reschedule for any friday. I would just keep the date, but internal bleeding is a risk and I would rather have a better date.

But thanks for posting my chart and looking at it!

Hi Haybelly,

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, and definitely keep on wishing. Heck, you are only a year older than me and I don't have children yet and I'm not married. Keep that dream alive, girl. I'm just saying that even though I'm a skilled astrologer, I'm at my "B" job right now and don't have enough time to give your chart the proper focus that this deserves, that's why I mentioned "responsibility/safety". I was really talking about myself and the ethics of advising someone on such a serious subject. I knew that I wasn't focusing properly and that's what could hurt you, an irresponsible consult, it had nothing to do with your chart.

As a matter of fact, looking at the link that's provided, if I were in your shoes I would probably consult with Molly, the woman who runs that site. I was very impressed with her site, I looked through it for a while and she seems to be highly skilled. Why don't you treat yourself to a consultation with her. This process you are going through really deserves it. You deserve all good things and I can't wait to see your baby pictures.

Geo-
Thanks for your help and honesty!

In fact, I have emailed Molly as I to thought she sounded pretty legit. I have not heard anything back from her.

Nevermind me, I am feeling emotional today, probably just feeling sorry for myself. In my head I am still young, I just took too long to "grow" up I guess.

I will continue to try, that's always fun!

I guess I will just keep the date I have and pray everything will be fine, and soon I will be pregnant!
