hello everyone! i have read articles that say a relationship should be started during the waxing phase of the moon. except when the moon forms the first square(to the position of the new moon???????). in my experience it has not really worked that way. i checked on the time i started relationships. 2 out of three started during the waxing phase ended in under a month! the one i started close to the full moon however lasted for seven years. the one i started on a new moon barely lasted a 4-5 dates! i have also seen a friend get married in the waning phase of the moon. she is by far the happiest married girl i know of! in india it is a common practice to consult astrologers for auspicious dates of marriages. which i've generally seen happen close to a new moon or full moon... would like to hear of your experiences and opinions! thanks! found a site that kind of answered my question.. http://sify.com/astrology/fullstory.php?id=14365673 " Marriage - The new moon day, full moon day, the 8th and 6th lunar days must be avoided. Days 2, 3, 5, 7, 10,11, 12, 13 dated from poornima(full moon) and amavasya(just before the new moon) are good. The lunar months of Magha, Phalguna, Vaisakha and Jyestha are good. The constellations of Uttara, Uttarashadha, Uttarabhadrapada, Revati, Swati, Makha , Hasta, Rohini, Anuradha, Mrigasira and Moola are favourable." IP: Logged | |
