... I didn't want to bring this up... but it starting to get under my skin.

SO, let me paint the picture. I think... i have a strong suspicion... that 2 of my professors are romantically inclined to me.

I have one Female Professor, let's call her Sue, and... well, Sue has asked me to spend some time with her outside of the classroom. Privately. Which is great, it's cool. I like Sue a lot. However, i'm thinking that Sue 1) likes ladies and 2) likes me.

Our Synastry Chart (I'm the inside):

Then there is... Tim, shall we say. Tim, well, Tim and i have also spent sometime together out of school and it was great. Nothing sexual or anything, but we got to talk on an intimate level. And as much as i HATE to admit this... I am horribly attracted to Tim.

Here is Our Chart (I'm the inside):

Tim and i have sh1t for synastry so i don't really understand why i think this pull is so strong.

Anywho, i just want your opinions on the charts and the situation.

I dunno if youre male or female, but you and Tim is hot sex. Both 8th rulers conjunct, a little wide, but whats a few degrees.

If youre not into women, you dont need me to tell you not to go for Sue. Seen as though you put her chart up, why not?
But Tim is better!

I'm female. And i'm straight.

Yes, Tim and i would be hot sex, but i need more than that. And look at our synastry! So many things are unaspected... it makes me worry..

I put up the chart with Sue and i because i'm thinking she has something for ME. I care for her, but not romantically. I think we could be great friends. But only that.

She doesn't touch my Venus, but i touch hers very much.

I think her Vertex conjunct your Sappho may be an indicator of her attraction to you. It may not necessarily be sexual, being in the 6th House of work/health/service.

She may see something powerfully womanly in you - almost in a 'perfect' sense. I wonder if the asteroid 'Sappho' is connected to Virgo, at times.

In a way, I think that Sappho conjunct Vertex means that the Sappho's ability to flourish as a semi-divine woman is triggered. How does her presence affect you?

Do you feel encouraged in higher order thinking in terms of interpersonal relationships when she is around?

Or does she inspire a feeling of 'womanship' in you?

In any respect, your Sappho has triggered her vertex. She will not forget you and what you represent as a woman.

Also, your Juno is conjunct her anti-vertex (self). In my experiences, Juno always appears aspected in close intimate relationships. In fact, this aspect is making me think she is sexually attracted to you. It wouldn't surprise me if you are the first woman in her life, to get her thinking about sexually intimacy with another woman.

Your Ceres conjunct her Sappho - I'm going to ask outright - How do you feel around her? There definitely is a 'female' connection there. Again, it's not necessarily sexual. Could she feel like a 'soul' sister to you? Do you like the energy you receive from her?

Your Psyche conjunct her Isis - another powerful connection related to a powerful female archtype.

I think Prof Sue sees something in you which is very special. She is in an ideal position to help you professionally. She will willingly help you attain your career dream based on the energy that flows between you.

Tim may seem like the better one for you, but don't throw the relationship you have with this woman away. Keep the energy burning with respect and friendliness and she will help you go wherever you want to go.

By the way, I've just noticed her NN in your 10th House!! She's there for you!!!!

You obviously have the X-factor somewhere to attract the attention of 2 Professors. Your name probably came up in a discussion and Sue is a little in awe of you.

I was thinking maybe you just have some kind of magnetism. We've talked about this before. I was thinking you could compare your chart to Angelina Jolie's chart because she has that type of attraction/magnetism where a lot of people are drawn to her for whatever reason. See if there's any similarities in your chart. Just on quick glance, using the same asteroids that you used in the above charts, there's a lot of 3rd and 9th house placements. Some people are just generally magnetic to others. So rather than synastry - look at natal and find what magic you possess that makes people so drawn to you. Princess Diana is another chart you could compare - or some other famous actress that everyone loves. Julia Roberts comes to mind. And once you work out your mojo - use it - not exploit it - but be aware of it and let it work for you, getting you where you want to go.

koifllower,

Her presence sort of gives me an adrenaline rush. I'm an actor and so when i'm performing i know she's paying very close attention to me and it gives me a bit of a boost.

quote:
Do you feel encouraged in higher order thinking in terms of interpersonal relationships when she is around?

I feel the need to focus and to perform to the best of my abilities. She makes me want to impress her. I can't explain it. From day 1 i knew she had taken a liking to me and since then i've felt the need to... not disappoint her in a sense. Make sense?

quote:
Or does she inspire a feeling of 'womanship' in you?

I sort of idealize HER as the perfect leading lady. She makes me want to strive to be as "womanly" as she is. For some reason she reminds me of a Cancer in the looks. My Venus is in Cancer so i think that might contribute to why i think she is the "perfect" lady.

quote:
Also, your Juno is conjunct her anti-vertex (self). In my experiences, Juno always appears aspected in close intimate relationships. In fact, this aspect is making me think she is sexually attracted to you. It wouldn't surprise me if you are the first woman in her life, to get her thinking about sexually intimacy with another woman.

Well... no, this is bad. I had a hunch she was inclined to me, but... No, i like her as a person. I don't want to hurt her feelings, you know?

quote:
Your Ceres conjunct her Sappho - I'm going to ask outright - How do you feel around her? There definitely is a 'female' connection there. Again, it's not necessarily sexual. Could she feel like a 'soul' sister to you? Do you like the energy you receive from her?

Yes, very much so. I sort of feel like we're soul sisters. We had an instant connection, personality wise. Like i said, i idealize her as a woman. I do like the energy i receive from her. Or at least i did until my classmates started to sense that she favored me...

quote:
Tim may seem like the better one for you, but don't throw the relationship you have with this woman away. Keep the energy burning with respect and friendliness and she will help you go wherever you want to go.

Well, Tim really isn't going to happen anyways. He's married. Which is an absolute disaster. I don't want to get involved in that mess again. I just realesed myself from a married man and now, in front of me, is another one. I think it's my Venus opposite Saturn that keeps me going after older men, and men that are taken. With Tim however, i'm afraid that feelings will develop. That's death. I don't want to sing this same old song and dance, but i can't resist the attraction.

quote:

Is that bad? ...do you mean i must have a placement to attract them like this?

No, it's not bad!!! It just reminded me of my time at College when I was studying for my degree and I know that lecturers talk amongst themselves.

Don't worry if she is attracted to you more than you would like. She will still be an excellent friend to you. If she is attracted, your polite "No, thanks" to her will not affect her, or hurt her in any way.

I'm glad you said that her presence gives you an adrenaline rush. I thought there had to be some reaction there.

Also, your DC and her Vertex conjunct. I think this is quite a significant attraction. There definitely is a 'spark' there, but I'm not an expert for this conjunction. Hopefully, someone can fill in the detail on a Vertex/DC conjunction.

This is a friendship that is worth exploring. But with any new person entering your life, take care until you know and can trust them.

Ah - I'm thinking more along the lines of - what's the name of the movie with Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett? Notes On A Scandal? See how that turned out?

Of course I've seen it! Two of my favorite actresses AND my beloved Bill Nighy.

But back on topic...I think a Leo works best under an admiring gaze. These crushes may benefit everyone involved. You'll do your best work, and they'll enjoy the thrill of crushing on you.

PA,

I looked up Angelina's chart. She has connections between Sun, Moon, Mars, and Pluto like i do. I have a Grand square/Grand Cross; She has Sun trine Pluto, Sun sextile Moon & Mars, Moon & Mars conjunct, AND Pluto opp Moon and Mars.

She also has Venus conjunct ASC in Cancer. I have Venus in Cancer trine my ASC in Scorpio.

So my guess is that it's the Sun, Moon, Mars, Pluto combo...

I'm not trying to exploit them! Truly! Please don't think that. I posted this info because i wanted to confirm that all of this wasn't just my mind playing tricks on me. And i also wanted a bit of advice in how to go about dealing with this. The last thing i want to do is hurt either of them or ruin our relationships. If Sue has a crush on me and i turn her away i don't want to not have her there anymore. And i don't want to develop feelings for Tim if he only cares about sex. If that's how he feels i want to distance myself.

I care for both of them, but just in different ways.

I'll check on the net. I know that Vertex deals with partners and relationships, so since it's conjunct my DC that sounds pretty significant.

If i remember correctly we have Osiris/Isis conjunct too.

It makes me feel guilty that i'm not crushing on her. Our synastry looks pretty powerful... so i'm not doing something right.. maybe it's because i'm straight..

That's a pretty sexy chart you got there, meta 4.

You must be.... interesting.

No comment on the synastry from me, though.

I just think you've got that magnetism. You'll find that a lot of people will be drawn to you in the same way. It's a gift. Use it wisely, young one!

I wouldn't pursue any type of relationship with either of them other than student and teacher. It will bite you later.

As i'm sure PA will tell you, i'm not really all that interesting. Just a bit high strung and over-emotional.

Thank you though.

It's biting me now.

This isn't the first mess i've gotten into concerning School and Romance. I have Venus in Cancer in the 9th House. I truly, truly think that's the cause of a loooootttt of my problems. I feel almost bound to be with a Teacher and/or Foreigner.

Tim's from Canada by the way. That's not good.

I wasn't planning on following up a relationship, but i'm sorta stuck now since i've already started to hang with Tim and i'm going to lunch with Sue in 2 hours!!!!

I don't want magnetism. I want to be able to just be with ONE person and never have to deal with attraction and messes again.

Yeah - those Canadians are THE worst! Nah! I love Canadians. We have this special kinship - Canadians and Aussies - like we're England's lost children. We get each other. If you really want to upset a Canadian - ask them which part of America they're from - or better - just ask them if they're American!!!

PA's advice to meta:

This is genuine. I'm 20 years older than you - I'm not smarter or wiser - just have lived a bit more. Go out - be a young girl and enjoy yourself. Meet lots of different people and become the best person you can be - just for yourself. The right person - you don't need to look so hard for them - they just come and you just know - especially when you are not looking or expecting them.

I tuned into her right away, PA.

At least, it sure felt like it.

Your planets make lots of close, if not exact,
squares, conjunctions, and oppositions to mine, meta.

me:

And you dont fool me. There's a lot more to you than "emotional and high-strung".

Thats one hell of a fixed cross you're working with, for one thing.

I DIDN'T MEAN THAAAAATTT!!!! I meant that he's a FOREIGNER! Ya know, Me, Venus in 9th. Plus he's a professor. That's a double whammy! No good! Houston, we have a problem!!

England's lost children? Aww... did they kick you out PA? ..GOOD!
