I've read multiple times where people say, " I attract alot of uranian types" for example. How do you know what types of zodiac signs (or planets, i guess) you attract?

yes, l attract mars, pluto and sun types... aries/scorpio/leo

I think it's because mars rules my 1st, sun rules my 5th and pluto rules my 8th

You know by asking the people you attract when their birthdate is, and then go online and find out their chart info like a true astrology geek/stalker.

I attract a lot of Venus in Aquarius people..and Virgo and Cancer men.

Listen up for birthday information and get on Astro to run up a chart. Astro-snoop, like Augentier. I do it, too. On friends, neighbours and people you work with, too. You will probably find, like me, a substantial number of people you meet over the course of the day don't have strong synastry links with your chart. What makes for the exceptions?

Most people know their Sun sign, if things were even you would expect to know people evenly spread around the signs. Take out family and co-workers, what do you come up with for close friends?

There is a high number of Aquarians in my life. It's not like I seek them out, it just happens that way. I must attract them. I have Aqua Mars, Trine the Sun, Trine Uranus on my chart. So, doesn't it make sense? There is probably a pattern as striking on your chart, that will give some clues what kind of people are going to radiate towards you.

I assume you're female, so look at planets aspecting your sun and mars plus their respective rulers.

For example, I've got both Mars and the Sun in Gemini. However, Mars aspects Pluto in Scorpio and the ruler of my Sun (Leo) is on the cusp of the eighth house so I tend to attract Scorpios. My Sun also opposes Uranus, so I do attract Uranian types (eccentric, brilliant). In addition, I have Sun trine Jupiter, so I tend to attract Sags as well.

Maybe it is as simple as ASC/Desc axis.

My husband is Virgo Rising. He loves Pisceans. A high number of his friends seem to have that sign. And although he claims he can't believe he has it as a rising sign, the Virgo tendencies are there and he seems to get on with them as co-workers. Can't stand Ariens though.

I have yet to figure out why I attract friends who have either 5th or 11th house Moons. Why that particular axis? I myself have a 5th house Moon, but I have an abnormal amount of people on my astro.com list that have those placements.

My friend seems to be friends with and date a lot of people who have bucket charts with the Moon as the handle of the bucket. He also has this type of chart himself.

I love finding the patterns in the charts of those around me. It's interesting.

Well there's some indicators in your chart, for instance the sign on your DSC.

But yeah, mostly I just look them up on Astro. I get a lot of Venus in Aquarius or Sagittarius, Leo & Virgo risings and Virgo moons.

I find that the energy I attract has gone in phases throughout my life. For years, all my relationships were with Cancer Sun/Scorpio Moons. Then I moved on to Scorpio Suns.

All of my girlfriends had air Moons up until last year. And I mean every single one of them, including all three of my mothers. (I have a Taurus Moon).

Now all my newest girlfriends have Earth Moons. All of them. So I must be in a new phase.

I agree about the ASC/DSC axis for the most part. I have Cancer on the DSC and I get along very well with Cancer risings and Cancer suns (assuming they have a fire or air influence) However, I absolutely clash with Cancer moons, which are too moody and sensitive for me to handle.

I seem to attract men with venus in cancer (my ascendant). Also men with venus in capricorn (my sun and venus). I have a number of aquarius friends with moon in sagittarius.Actually come to think of it there was an aquarius I met recently who was quite attracted to me(I wasnt) who had...yes you guessd right sun in aquarius, moon in sagittarius. So there seems to be something about me that attracts that combination. The sagittarius moon might be because of my mars in sagittarius. With aquarius I'm not sure why. My uranus is in my 5th house and most of my 8th house is ruled by aquarius.

But isnt 5th and 8th house about what I am attracted to and not who is attracted to me?

For a number of years it was exclusively Libra men, and I don't know why. And then every time I met a different man with a different sign, then did his chart, I would see he was ALL LIBRA. It killed me.
It still happens from time to time...

I think it's because of my Libra stellium ? I have no idea. But then I hear that women tend to like whatever their Mars sign is in, and I have Mars in Taurus. So, I guess Venusian men? I have no idea. Only it was exclusively Libras and not Taureans...though maybe the Tauruses got left in the dust trails of the Libras lol! I really like Taurus men, though I don't have the patience for their 'slow starts'. By the time they make up their minds, I'm usually out of the country or something...

I tend to also attract Capricorns from time to time, and maybe it's because of my Midheaven? I have no idea either. My BLM is in Capricorn, so maybe that's it Can't say for sure...

I'll attracted the stray Scorpio and Leo on occasion. For some reason, Leos men in particular are very easy for me to get along with. It could very well be my Aries moon.

Ahhh, this is interesting!!

I tend to be attracted to lots of scorpio types, sun/moon in scorpio.....mind you I have venus in cancer so that could be why. I'm fascinated with scorpio, all my celeb crushes are ALWAYS scorpios!

Also, I get quite a few aquas lately, maybe cos I'm leo rising and therefore would aqua be on my Desc?

Earthy signs tend to like me, maybe as I have loads of virgo planets?

I attract Air moons, I guess it's because of my Gemini Asc and my chart is predominantly Air. I think they had/have to be in my life to teach this double Scorpio about detachment and letting go.

I don't know. There's a lot of guys I attract that I'm sure I don't want to date. The guys I do date all seem so different from the last.

What makes me daydream a bit is that according to this, someone I like has reason to be attracted to me, although that doesn't mean they are. This guy has a fire sun, to be attracted to my fire moon and he has an Aquarius moon, to be attracted to my Aqua sun.
Although, he's the kind of person who, although very exciting, what I daydream about the most is the both of us being kids and going on all sorts of adventures and games of make believe. The things he say are so much like the things I say.

Too many great guys are not for me. Bah.

The last four guys I have been involved with have been virgo suns

I have uranus and pluto conjunct in virgo in my 11th , but they are my only virgo placements.
My mercury is in aries in my 5th house
Also in aries are sun moon and juno
Also in 5th are venus saturn and chiron

Does that make any sense for this "obsession" with virgo suns?
