Does this ring a bell with anyone Gemini-influenced?I've got a Gemini moon and mercury is by far my most personal planet. Anyone ever feel that the greatest frustration of their mortal life is that they cannot crawl under the skin of another person and be that person, not because they are not happy with being themselves, but just to see what it's like? And that the frustration lies in never being able to? And do the heavily Neptune influenced feel that they don't suffer this longing at all? Or your suggestions on a postcard please. Trying to get my head around why I feel like this. It's like wanting to go on holiday to a place that can't exist for me in this life. I just want to be someone else for a bit, to see what it's like for them being them. Struggling with the Gemini moon again. How to get in touch with other people without feeling like you have to crawl inside them. IP: Logged |

No. Sounds like a Pisces thing to say. IP: Logged |

It might be the condition of your Moon as well as the sign. My Moon is in Libra, my Sun in Gemini. So I think I am the opposite way around from you. But I don't really share your feeling on this one. What aspects does your Moon make? On my chart, she does make a connection to Neptune, a Sextile. Neptune is in the 1st house. Mercury is Trine Pluto. Pluto is Conjunc the Moon. I think these are the key aspects that symbolise that I don't find it too hard to work other people out, to imagine their perspective. Neptune is in my first house. One of my sons shares this, and he also has Mercury in the 8th. He is very young, but already it is clear his ability to understand emotion and how other people tick is greater than mine. But he has shown the way for me to think about my own chart, and how the puzzle fits together. This may be a little off the point, but as we are talking about Neptune, I do have dreams where I am someone else, not myself, I am in their body. Maybe you do as well? I don't think it is necessarily that unusual but I don't know, I've never thought to mention it to anyone before. IP: Logged |

Hey guys quote: What aspects does your moon make?
Moon trine pluto, sun, uranus Moon sextile chiron Moon (10th) opposition neptune and venus (4th) Moon quincunx mercury Could this be a Moon/Neptune opposition thing then, since KickIt said that about Pisces? I don't think I'm that bad at empathy, but it's the not knowing for sure. But then what's for sure? I suppose not even you can know your own feelings for sure sometimes, well I don't anyway. I don't have those dreams. I'm always me in my dreams *sigh*. Sounds nice though.

What are you comparing it to? If it is posts on LL, that could be a Monty Python Yorkshireman situation. It is probably my Gemini side that makes me aware of my changeable moods, and also admit that I know I can't be guaranteed to react in the same way to similar situations. It might not be outwardly obvious, but it is inwardly. IP: Logged |

wheels! In the case of Gemini men i'd say "inside the panties of another person" instead of "under the skin" IP: Logged |

LOL. Wheelsofcheese, I have Sun and Mercury in Gemini and I haven't wondered what it'd be like to be someone else. IP: Logged |

Hiya Wheels! I'd say it would have more to do with your aspects. I'm a Pisces sun/Gem moon. My problem is that I involuntarily pick up on other people's vibes all of the time. I had to kind of train myself to tune out once I learned that those weren't actually MY feelings, but that of those around me. I was glad that I did finally come to that realization! You have your curious Gem moon in a house that's related to your identity. Trining Pluto would explain a bit about why you feel identifying with another would include delving deep to discover the REAL truth about them. Then the Neptune opposition. You're not sure that you're getting a correct read on a person and feel that the only way to do that is to BE that person. Neptune does meld and mold around another's energy til it absorbs it and understands it. So, this opposition might make you feel like that channel is blocked to you, while inspiring you to want to make that connection at the same time. Also, are your Sun/Pluto/Uranus conjunct or in different signs? That would say a lot right there! 8th IP: Logged |

I agree with blue moon on this one. Hey blue moon, what are your other planets? Your chart sounds very similar to mine.------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ And yes, i'm a guy! IP: Logged |

Hi all, thanks for the insights. quote: Also, are your Sun/Pluto/Uranus conjunct or in different signs? That would say a lot right there!
They're in the same sign. I think what you said nailed it 8th. I also think I am more Neptune-ruled than I thought. Neptune conjuncts Venus and also Pisces rules my seventh. So Neptune has a lot of influence on Venus, so for a Libran that's important. I think it's the experience that I want, not necessarily wanting to absorb and become that other person. It's just that I can't do it. *stamps foot* IP: Logged |

No, GG, just the Sun Gemini and the Moon in Libra are the same. I have Moon CNJ Pluto, but Pluto is in Virgo, Moon at 0* Libra. I have Virgo MC though, maybe that is a linking point. I tend to get on with Virgo Rising people. Mercury/Venus in Taurus Mars in Aqua IP: Logged |

I have Neptune conjunct Moon, trine Sun and square Mercury and Venus. I agree with Eighth moon. When I am getting a read on someone I basically mold my energy around them, and probe until I absorb there emotions and begin to feel what they feel. But I have to agree that it does feel like in a way I want to "crawl" inside there head and 'be them". So I dont think that it is a Gemini thing either, I think its a Pisces thing.------------------ Aries Sun Moon Sag Scorpio Rising IP: Logged |

I find it easy to "become" another person, maybe it's because I'm a double Scorpio plus my Mercury and Neptune are conjunct in Sagittarius very close to my DC. This comes very handy in my creative work.Of all the signs, the Pisces would be the most difficult to "get into character" because their nature is soooo mutable. If you want to "become" them you must accept that in their mind things are constantly changing. IP: Logged |

I have the reverse; Moon in the last degree of Virgo, and Pluto is conjunct it from Libra. IP: Logged |
