Chiron squaring sun, moon, saturn, Mc indicates wounds from childhood from authority and/or maternal/paternal influence being borught forthquintile Mercury indicates issues with communication regarding the above. your career or life direction is bringing challenges reminding you off wounds that need healing. Chiron sextile Venus and Uranus represents an unexpected opportunity to heal Then trine Pluto and Chiron, Means this is most definitely a healing time. You may find a friend makes a great counsellor or you may benefit greatly from counselling to achieve psychological healing. How does this sound? Bit intense? IP: Logged |

In addition to what Quinnies has said, Chiron transits have an unfair feel about them, they bring up what you perceive as the "worse of the worse" in order to heal - once the transit is over you are able to gain great wisdom from the events & empathise with others who have been in a similar situations. I agree, it definitely brings up old wounds, but it could also enable you to discover how you can heal others. IP: Logged |

Very true-I've experienced this very much! Old wounds have been resurfacing but at the same time, I'm helping other girlfriends heal who are going through rough times themselves. When will chiron move to another sign? IP: Logged |

I had Chiron square Saturn in the first half of this year ... and it will return at the end of 2008 for a few weeks ... and I ... HATED it more than any other so called "nasty" transit that I can remember. Next time it comes around, I'll be prepared and will keep a stiff upper lip.;-)IP: Logged |

Right now transiting Chiron is conjuncting my ASC/opposing my DSC, along with transiting NNode. Transiting Chiron, transiting NNode and transiting Venus are currently squaring my natal Saturn. In addition, transiting Neptune is back to squaring my natal Saturn since it's gone retrograde and it's getting closer and closer. It's been rough. I've had a lot of unexpected health problems - including emergency surgery to remove what turned out to be a very diseased gallbladder which almost exploded while passing a gallstone...and just a few months ago I had spinal surgery for a severely herniated disc. I've been very depressed because I have to take a lot of medication and it's been two years now that I've been on all the meds. I have to take Percocet (oxycodone) and Flexeril (a muscle relaxer) for the back pain (even though I had a fairly successful surgery it only helped lessen the pain; it didn't cure me because I have degenerative disc disease, I sustained permanent nerve damage because I put off the surgery for a long time, and I have bone spurs, osteoarthritis in my back, etc.). Due to a combination of all the stress and the meds I've had to take I've developed a serious anxiety/panic attack disorder so now I'm on Xanax too. So basically I've been forced into a corner and now I'm physically dependent on prescription medication. I want to get off the meds but at present I can't. I've weaned down as much as I can but I still have to take them to manage the back pain and the anxiety disorder. I've tried all kinds of alternative healing modalities - going to a naturopath, homeopathy, hypnosis, massage therapy, crystal healing, meditation, prayer, everything. Nothing has worked except surgery and meds. So I'm feeling pretty low these days. I hate having to take the meds but without them I wouldn't be able to function, yet they are partly responsible for the depression, both mentally and physically - all three meds can cause depression and anxiety so put them all together and boom. It's like I'm trapped. But at the same time I seem to be going with the flow and learning to accept my circumstances and handicaps. Last year I had my Nodal Return (my NNode is 3'41 Pisces in the 1st) and since then I've had an easier time letting go and surrendering to what is than I used to. IP: Logged |

Tigerlily, are you Aqua ASC? I am Leo ASC (=Aqua DC) and I've had transiting Chiron, tr NN and tr Neptune hanging aroung my DC and 7th house for a long time... They have passed the exact axis, but are now staying put in the 7th house (won't be leaving in the near future...).It's a very confusing mix. I've been in a difficult Neptunian kind of relationship (aren't they always...), and it's given me a lot of pain, but also some real insight into life and relationships, which most probably has been the intent (NN). I guess it's not the time for a summary yet, though... IP: Logged |

one theory,,.. Chiron transits bring up things we thought we'd already dealt with.
