Which one is more accurate? I know that sun sign forecasts for each sign covers about 1/12th of the world population, but sometimes they fit ur situation perfectly. But which one is more accurate, ur sun sign or ur Asc?

I read MSN daily/weekly/monthly ( 70% of the time), Astrologyzone.com monthly( 85% of the time) and Astrolutely.com weekly/monthly ( 95% of the time). Both Sun sign and Rising sign.

I read astrolutely, it used to be pretty accurate for my sun sign for 1 year, but now nothing seems to match. This week for Scorp(Sun sign)/Pisces(Asc) it predicts great romantic prospects. I am still waiting, not that I have not made the effort. I was thinking maybe her monthlies were more accurate but even that does not match, except when she predicts awful things.

Whoa. Thanks for telling me about astrolutely, because that is most chillingly accurate scope I've ever read for the month and year. I read it for both my Sun and rising, but the rising really hit home. The sun, not so much

So u think that I will be able to get back with my ex? He took my email address from me and told me I would write to you immediately.
That was last night, no mail from him yet. He is a Libra sun with a Gemini rising. He is a great fence sitter, am surprised how his butt does not have slivers from all the hedging:-). Can never understand when a guy say "immediately" and takes forever. Maybe he needs a dictionary.

Mmm...you know all these weekly forecasts have been saying "you will reconcile with an ex lover; an ex lover will contact you to reconcile your relationship" etc...it hasn't happened. lol. I think it's just generalized.

This year it was a variation to the theme, "give me ur email address, I would definitely like to chat, keep in touch with you". I guess that is the end of contact for this year.
just wondering why I can't get rid of him when I know that he is so very superficial and just says things that he thinks sound good. he never realizes that i am a scorpio and I take people's words seriously. My word is my promise and I keep my promises. He does not. Is it a Libra thing to sweet talk but never follow through?

In addition to my sun sign, Scorpio, I read the interpretation for Aquarius.

Although my Ascendant is Capricorn, I have Aquarius INTERCEPTED in the 1st house,
so, most of the house-sign cusps line up according to an Aquarius Ascendant.

If I read the Capricorn one,
I check to see if the houses are activated
in accordance with the astrologer's assumptions.
Most of the time they are not,
and fit the Aquarian interpretations instead.

The strange thing is that I have never grieved over any relationship this long, don't know why I aam unable to get over him. Plus it has been a bad five years for me till now, this year my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. So I am hoping that he is not toying with my feelings and it is the beginning of some better times.
Are all Scorps sun signs/ pisces Asc undergoing difficult times? And will it end soon?

Yes, it's the most accurate way to go for anyone imo. Because then you are getting a reading according to how the planets are actually transiting your chart.

You can read HSC's post and ditto it for me. I'm also a Cap rising with Aqua intercepted inthe first. I have to play around with which one i read sometimes because of the size of my houses. I just get an idea of where the planets are and know which houses they are actually in. Sometimes I would have to even read Pisces.

Hi all, Thanks for the insights.
My Asc is Pisces and it completely covers the Aries house, so my 1st house ends in Taurus. Should I read Aries too?
BTW, deuxantares- he finally wrote an email asking me to keep in touch with him. should I just suppose that it is the Merc Rx that is causing this and it will fade after it is over? How do I know if this time it is for keeps?

Funny, are you saying that the cusps of both 1st House and 2nd House are in Pisces?

About the Libra, we don't know what his intentions are. All I know is that Libra guys like being friends with their exes. And the less evolved ones do this so that they have someone to go back to in times that they are single and lonely. Best that you don't read too much into it, maybe it's just a mercury Rx thing.

My Asc is in Pisces(24 deg) and the 2nd house cusp is at 0 Taurus, So I don't have a cusp for Aries at all.
I guess u are right and I should not read much into it, it is just strange that he wants to keep in touch now when he did not make any attempts to write or call in the past 4.5 years. I looked at prog/natal and his sun conj my moon and there is a venus mars conj, was wondering if it meant something. Ah- just dreaming of things.

Blimey, I never even thought to read my rising or my moon, Leo Asc and Libra Moon. Wowsers! I always just read my sun Gemini, which is hardly ever accurate!!
