Hi everybody!Just out of curiosity, in terms of real-life experience, is there anyone out there who really wanted or planed on getting a certain astrological combo in a mate and then was surprised when they fell for someone different then expected? Then afterwards, you look at your chart and the attraction makes sense, and your like “why didn’t I see that before?!” For example, you really thought you wanted a Sag/Aries sun/moon combo but then you go for a Gem/Scorp… On the other side of the coin, are there some people out there who had a certain astrological combo in mind for a mate, and then got exactly what they hoped to get anyway… Like you always knew you’d fall for a Sag/Scorp combo and then one day you meet one and you do… I’d love to hear about people’s personal experiences, and of course the astro info involved. I kind of exploring the notion of what people think they want versus what they get.

I was dying to try Scorpio, I heard its a good match for me, low and behold I met her at work, looked at her and asked, are you a scorp? She said yes, we went out for 3 years then broke up, it wasn;t what it's cracked up to be, now we are best friends though  IP: Logged |

Oh My God that has happened to me so many times. I even admit to having become more interested in and begun dating people based on seeing a good chart. I do not recommend this. And then I suddenly end up falling for someone I have an average, but unremarkable, chart with. And it's so much better than the "planned" one. Love goes beyond the stars, to be honest.IP: Logged |

Also, I once met someone I had the *perfect* chart with. I could hardly believe it. We remain good friends, but it never had that spark and passion I had imagined it would. It is so interesting how these things happen. As I said, love goes beyond the stars.IP: Logged |

You know that is interesting I think, because I look at relationships which look good/lasting and even also exciting astrologically, but then they don't work in the long run at all...however, there is that kind of nice, friendly element, where I am able to be close to them no matter what.It's true, sometimes the doomed or even boring synastry combos for me have been pretty great.
