you know how each ascendant has a deacon. do the sun signs moon signs and all the other planet is signs have deacons too? can that play a role in physical appearnce.
for example sun in taurus 26 capricorn deacon
mooon in aquarius 24 libra deacon
mercury in taurus 7 taurus deacon
venus in aries 15 leo deacon
mars in pisces 19 cancer deacon
jupiter in cancer 9 cancer deacon
saturn in capricorn 25 virgo deacon
uranus in capricorn 9 capricorn deacon
neptune in capricorn 14 taurus deacon
pluto in scorpio 16 pisces deacon

yes, i think all the planets have 3 "deacons" (i always read decantes..is that the same thing?) and will affect the way that planet works in your life. as far as appearance, i think whichever deacon your ASC is in can give you additional qualities..for example i have Scorpio ASC 12 deg. so it's in the Pisces decan...I do have a Piscean softness and sensitivity to my appearance and attitude with others. ------------------

I'm not sure if it's also spelled "deacon". The spelling i know is DECAN, and then there's DECANATE. (Like a sultan rules a sultanate blah blah blah)

Yes ditto Deux. Everything (planets, points etc) has a decanate and a dwad, just like everything has a sign. How much it affects personal appearance is yet to be thoroughly tested. I think the dwad/decanate has an impact on the ASC as for chart rulers and other things, logic would say yes but how much, we don't know. See: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/018812.html
