As an example:
IF
person A has their venus squared Person B's pluto
AND at the same time...
person A has their pluto sqaure Person B's venus

Do both person A and person B feel the same obessions/wanting to control eachother? or do double whammies just cancel out?

No DWs INTENSIFY the feeling of the aspects.

I have already asked this one in a previous topic, but hope you don't mind if I ask it again:

Can Venus square Pluto and Venus biquintile Pluto be considered as a DW? I'm having some doubts about this biquintile aspect : is it too minor for a DW?

Technically, a DW is the same two planets with the same aspect, but in any case as long as the same two planets are involved there will be a stronger emphasis on the areas they govern.
You will also have to consider what aspects are involved, whether they are both harmonious, energising or one of each.
With minor aspects, like the biquintile there is also the aspect orb to consider, a tight aspect will naturally feel stronger, and even more so if it is involved in an energy exchange alerady taking place between the two planets.

we speak of a double whammie ONLY in synastry, when Person A and Person B have the same exact aspect between the same exact planets.
that is the definition of a double wammie.

so, no, they don't cancel each-other out - NOR do they intensify eachother!!!
this is still about TWO aspects -that don't interfeer one with the other.

it only adds to our understanding of the synastry.

it's like "i like you" and 'you like me'. the result is "we BOTH like eachother". (or I hate you, you hate me, we hate eachother)

eg:
I like your looks, you like my looks: my Venus trines your Asc, your Venus trines my Asc.

I'm, sexually attracted to you, you are also attarcted to me - my Venus squares your Mars, your Venus squares my Mars.

etc,

So

eros trine saturn DW both under 1 degree would be considered then? Would it mean that romantic love is suppressed?
