How does that happen...My question was I have been seeing this guy whowe moon falls in my 8th house. His 8th house ruler is Pisces which happens to be my sun sign..Does that give things some extra type of kick.... IP: Logged |

Hold on, sweetie. Fortunately, my Gemini ASC short attention span compels me to have multiple windows open. In one window is your thread. Will try to reconstruct it for you by copy-paste. 2 minutes please. IP: Logged |

Sei no Senshi Knowflake Posts: 6 From: Hot Springs, AR, USA Registered: Oct 2008 posted October 21, 2008 02:28 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I wouldn't think there'd be any "extra power" from that little set up, but I wouldn't think it'd be a very good relationship if his Luna is in your Eighth house and your Sol is in his Eighth house. The emotions and self-identity involved would seem to have you upset one another. That is unless your Sol positively aspects his Jupiter and his Luna positively aspects your Eighth house ruler. That'll soften it up. IP: Logged |

Fluke Knowflake Posts: 304 From: Norway Registered: Nov 2006 posted October 21, 2008 02:32 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I thought planets was rulers, not signs...? In this case Neptune would be his 8H ruler, if his 8H starts in Pisces. Ok, houses have ruling signs, but "the ruler" would be the planet that rules the sign In the case of his Moon in your 8H and your Sun in his 8H I don't think you can call it either negative or positive as an isolated thing. Aspects and such will push that in either direction, but someones planet falling in this and that house of yours will only signify that what that planet stands for (lets say your Sun, your life energy, spirit, core etc.) activates the house in question's areas (lets say his 8H, passion, mystery, death, SEX etc.) Sounds hot to me

Glaucus Knowflake Posts: 2470 From: Sacramento,California,USA Registered: Jul 2006 posted October 21, 2008 02:43 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neptune is the modern ruler of Pisces. before Neptune was discovered,Jupiter was known as the ruler of Pisces. Some astrologers still use Jupiter as ruler of Pisces like the Vedic Astrologers,Classical Astrologers, and other astrologers that don't use the outerplanets. Some astrologers do use both Jupiter and Neptune as corulers of Pisces, and I am one of them. some astrologers view Jupiter as the day ruler of Pisces, and some other astrologers view Neptune as the night ruler of Pisces.

Thanks for the welcome! The name means Star Soldier, basically.I'm a traditional astrologer by nature, mostly because I find modern astrology to be mostly contrived. :-S I can't help but reference traditional rules and philosophies as that's what I came to learn and understand. Jupiter will always rule Pisces, because there's no good argument for why he shouldn't. I didn't mean for this thread to turn into some sort of discussion concerning planetary dignities, so I apologize for that. :S I'm not from the forties, I'm from '89. :P And I'm male, not a "her". :P Silly. I just find traditional philosophies to be much more sound than modern ones. It gives me a lot to write about in my blog, you know? IP: Logged |

No, I'm running Windows, it's just that every forum is a little bit different in terms of how it's set up and the different commands and whatnot. I had to take a flying guess as to the quote command. Guess accomplished. IP: Logged |
