I am at my wits end with these people. This is the third night in a row I can't sleep because of the amount of noise next door (doors slamming, people laughing one minute, screaming the next, throwing things around) grrrrrrr

They moved in about a month ago. They lose their key every second day and knock at my door at odd hours like 2 am because they want to climb over the balcony fence and get into their place. We are actually on the 18th floor so there could easily be an accident.

I've seriously had it. Is there a transit for insane neighbours? Is there a house of neighbours?

I think the only way to teach rude people is to get them back. vaccuum at 7am bumping into thier wall alot with the stereo cranked to some ac/dc / pantera / type stuff before going to work.

or mention in a friendly way that the walls are so thin I can actually hear everything you guys do at night. I wish I didn't have to get up so early for work when it seems like your party is in my living room.

or,...buy adele's new cd and listen to it loud enough to drown them out. smooth relaxing music.

I hate apartments for that very reason.
and I probly in my day was that person, not on purpose, but I like to play my guitar in the middle of the night sometimes, or had late night parties back in the day. Apartment living is not very private, for sure.

Is it maybe transits through the 3rd house you think?

I had a really loud annoying neighbor who turned on his thumping, loud music at 6 AM every day...no matter how many times I told him politely to please, please keep the music down or play it later in the day, he would get all snotty with me. I worked late and was hardly getting any sleep and the building manager wasn't doing anything about it either

After about 3 months, the gloves were off. It was around the time the movie Blair Witch Project came out and I started leaving a little pile of strategically placed pebbles at his doorstep every few days, until the music thing stopped and he moved about 2 months later.

Is it a rented aprtment? I would go to the agent's. Ive had noisy neighbours before, and what others told me was to call the police. I called the area caretaker.

another thing that worked for me was use ear plugs, or go to another room.

i agree, but i think its total crapp how some one in there own home shud have to wear earphones or be forced to go outside or into another room to escape something, you have just as much right to feel comfortable in your home as your neighbor

they should introduce some laws about these issues, i consider it anti social behaviour, if people wanna pump there music like some kind of live show, then they should go rent somewhere.

peoples home rights should be considered, right?

There's no talking to them. They don't speak English very well. The guy is an alcoholic and looks like he is out of his mind. The girl seems quiet most of the time but then she'll start screaming at him out of the blue and throwing things.

Every time they've argued it ends with her "moving out". Except she comes back.

Libralove,

lol yeah if I had the energy. I am sooo busy right now and I really need my sleep. But I'll complain about them - hopefully something changes.

Sorry about being weird in your other thread.

Sunshine_Lion,

You could play your guitar all day long. I don't even mind parties, but these people are insane.

I'm not sure about getting them back, because the guy seems creepy. I have a feeling things would get worse. Sometimes he stares at my balcony during the day. My bf thinks he's looking for something to steal.

that's hilarious.

I'll definitely email the agent about it. I did speak to the manager once but - no change.

3rd house.

I banged on my neighbour's door in a rage when he had a late night gathering in his house that woke me up.

He came around next day with chocolates and flowers.

I felt really ashamed of myself. It was a one off ~ and he is a lovely person.

Why can't I just shut my mouth sometimes?

I have Mars in the 3rd house, now I think of it

hahaha ^ the power of action, and aries eh, i have to admit, they might not be my ideal, but people with fiery tempers really are so entertaining, it must stimulate my aries moon lol. (i usually don't demonstrate this fieriness, probs because of my grand square, but it is there!)

no worries Coral, but now im the one whos curious about why that happend, and why you asked,

anyway, on your topic subject, they sound like a pain in the ass, but don't worry too much, your the aries, with all that bundle of energy somewhere, so im sure ull get this sorted no matter what it takes, bottom line.

aries arn't the losers!

See, the problem is that even if you go to the manager/agent of the building, they don't always do anything. In my case, nothing happened. And sometimes they just don't care.

Libralove, it was a classically Virgoan passive-aggressive move of me wasn't it, lol.
Although I did used to open my window and yell at the top of my lungs "Turn the @*$#& music off already!!!!" when my other neighbors would BLAST it in the street when I was trying to study.
I used to try headphones, but the loud thump of the bass line is more the problem than just the regular music.

That was a bad neighborhood.

gross, you have to listen to domestic disputes like that, that is very disturbing to your spirit.

keep complaining anonomously if you can ... keep your place locked up tight....visualize them gone and pleasant happy people living there.

this is where having mars/mercury in virgo and venus in libra don't help.

basically a giant fan blowing out my fieriness

I think you know what you have to do. Loosen up some screws, and let gravity take care of the rest.

They sound extremely irritating. Have you spoken with other neighbors, to see if they're annoyed as well? A group complaint to the agent should have an effect. She won't want to lose a whole group of clients because of a bad couple. Maybe she won't get rid of them, but she probably wouldn't renew their lease.

I don't know if his English is good enough to understand you, but if he knocks on your door again late at night, you could let him know that it's unreasonable for him to expect you to help him at that hour, and ask that he never do it again.

If talking to the agent and directly telling your neighbor to leave you alone doesn't change things, I'd call the cops. What they're doing is an unreasonable disturbance of the peace. They're in the wrong. I hope things get better soon. I lived across from a bar, and that was less disturbing than this couple sounds.

CF, I live in a house with 8 people, that isn't really supposed to support 8 people. None of the appliances work all at the same time because the electricity is up the creek and the landlord doesn't know what he's doing. He keeps saying he's not going to have as many people in the house as there are but then goes out and just gets more tenants when people leave, and everyone complains about it. People are really noisy and annoying as well so I wear earplugs most of the time and curse silently - but because of the electrical probs and extra bods in the house recently I've almost had a nervous breakdown because of all the disturbance and interruption (I work from home).

This has been going on since March for me, in exasperation I have spoken to my mum about it and she has offered me 3 rooms in her house (own bedroom, bathroom and workroom) as I really need peace and quiet to work in and to come home to and I can't operate in bedlam or chaos. Cost'll also be a fraction of what I'm paying now for rent/food etc.

Might be an Aries thing right now; like I said, this has been going on since March for me.

Chocolate and flowers I haven't tried that one. Maybe, I will try panties with no holes and sliding down the pole with no panties and say, "Yeah it's my birthday"!....lol. That will resolve the neigbour dispute but, that's my libra scorpio cusp to use diplomacy until all else fails and then hose them with scorpion love - water.

I think that I will stick with scorpion reasoning and action but with twists of libran "Yeah it's my birthday"....lol. I will wrap my panties around my nothing panties.Singing, go Scorpion cusp Libra - making love to booty music - sticking figs on my ears with freash coconut cream all over my body; nothing but panties!. No worries baby!

Sending {{{Hugs}}} to you CoralFrequency.

Hang in there with a dancing pole in the middle of your bedroom and some making love booty music! Blast them with love - making love to booty music on full volume ranch.

I had neighbors like that, though they didn't pound on my door at odd hours. They would scream at each other just outside the bedroom window though, so even with it closed (and it's often not) you could hear every word shrieked. What I hated the most was their busting bottles, especially when they did it right by my driveway. And I went from loathing them to hating them when I saw them, with their dog, chase down a raccoon and beat it to death with boards & bats while laughing uproariously.

Oddly, they were raided by the cops 3 times and I didn't catch that (I did happen to see cops out there a couple of times, but no drugs raids). The last raid caught meth there and they were finally all evicted. I was surprised to see the police tape around it and the windows boarded up one day, and found out later that there'd been prior raids that found nothing. Apparently police raids and mass arrests (A LOT of people living there) were quieter than them.
