Do you trust your instincts?

This is an offshoot of a discussion on another thread that has made me ponder this question.

When is that moment that strikes you that you can let down your guard and trust?

For me, despite being a giddy Gemini I have to say I work on instinct entirely in this matter and it isn't necessarily a speedy delivery. This is where the heavy influence of Pluto steps in ~ he being my chart ruler and Conjunct my Moon. It might not be soon, it will be when it will be, if you see what I mean.

Whether I find I hard or easy ~ depends on the person. In love? Well, I'm one of those lucky people who has yet to feel let down. I let down my guard once, I feel no pain.

Do you think the ability to trust our instincts or otherwise helps or hinders in relationships?

I know I curse those times I didn't listen to mine, though they tend to be few. A long time ago a friend of mine said -: that's called a gut instinct, always listen to them. I did listen to her ~ and she is ~ a sensible Capricorn with Aries Rising.

Yes I follow my gut. It has for the most part served me well. Sometimes people think I'm crazy for the decisions I make.. or the things I don't do.. but when something feels wrong or right I go with it. I do resist sometimes because my mind takes over... but usually in the end I go with what I felt in the first place.

The moment I met my husband I knew he was going to play a huge role in my life. I do not do the soulmate thing... I have a ton of those.. but he was who I need to get through this life. My partner in crime LOL

I have to say YES! Everytime I have ever had a gut feeling about someone or something it has proved to be right. When I push tht feeling down and go on anyway, I regreted it, because my gut was always right on target.

Example - my kids were real small and I lived by the coast I took them to the beach every day between jobs. I used the hose when we got home to get all the sand off them and noticed one of my neigbors watching us. I got a wierd feeling and from then on took the kids inside sand and all to clean upin the shower. A few months later, this guy dies and they find TONS of child porn under his bed and in his home.

example # 2 - my second husband, my gut told me not to trust him, and over time he courted me so faithfully, that my mind overruled my gut. My parents loved him, my friends loved him, everybody pressured me like, why are you hesitating, jump on it, he is awesome. 1 year into our marraige he was cheating BIGTIME and supporting another woman with OUR incomes! UGH. Should have listened to my inner voice.

Always trust you gut! Always!
