The past 2 guys I've dated had their Uranus RIGHT on my 7th house cusp/descendant and it's driven me absolutely NUTS...it's almost like a compulsive, odd feeling that really drove me crazy. They were both a few years younger than I, so their Uranus was in Scorpio. I have a guy who is somewhat in my life now and also has his Uranus in Scorpio and it's in my 7th house...I am wondering about the effects of Uranus here. I had one astrologer tell me that it can make the person seem unreliable over time...is this true? Has anyone had a relationship with someone whose Uranus fell in their 7th house? What if it's not aspecting anything in the synastry? My own 6th house Uranus falls into his 8th house (where his naturally is in his chart) and it's conjunct his 8th house Sun by a tight angle. His Saturn also conjunct my Sun right at 0 degrees. Anyway...any feedback on the Uranus/house effects would be great. I know what it does when it aspects Mars and Venus, but I am also curious as to what it might do when it aspects the sun. Yes ~ my parents. It's a generational thing. If it bothers you, get an ephemeris online or otherwise and that will identify the years where every man is going to fall in that house. IP: Logged |

For me this is going to cover quote: The silent generation," 1935-1939 (Generation V-c) (Uranus in Taurus, Neptune in Virgo, Pluto in Cancer) With all three planets in passive signs, they tended to be shy, quiet, conforming, moody, dreamy, sympathetic and introspective. But sometimes they have become outspoken due to their desire to help others; and like the previous group can be quite unpredictable. Examples: Woody Allen, Bruce Babbitt, Warren Beatty, Jerry Brown, Pat Buchanan, Judy Collins, Jane Fonda, David Frost, Gary Hart, Dustin Hoffman, Barbara Jordan, Jack Nicholson, Robert Redford, Sam Nunn, Ted Turner. "The war babies," 1939-1946 (Generation W-a) (Uranus in Taurus/Gemini, trine Neptune in Virgo/Libra; Pluto in Leo) This group provided the leaders of the "60s generation." They are outspoken, visionary and unconventional, but they burned up much of their energy in their youth (Gemini). Impulsive, confident, spontaneous and restless, they are rebels with a cause and can become great leaders. But perhaps they have been too fickle or adaptable to remain true to the great ideals of their youth. This group and the next are very musically talented. Examples: Muhammed Ali, Joan Baez, The Beatles, Joseph Biden, Chevy Chase, Robert DeNiro, John Denver, Bob Dylan, Richard Gephardt, Newt Gingrich, Tom Hayden, Jimi Hendrix, Jesse Jackson, Mick Jagger, Janis Joplin, Ted Koppel, Oliver North, Pat Schroeder, Tom Selleck, Pete Townshend, Paul Tsongas
http://users.california.com/~eameece/generations.htm I think where it is going to be of most pertinence is when it connects with a personal planet or angle on your chart. Or any planets you have in the 7th.
Also, you need to look at the whole of the chart. For example, my dad has Uranus in my 7th house. It is conjunct the Sun in Taurus, there are 4 other planets falling in my 7th house from his chart. Unreliable is not a word anyone would give him, and least of all me. IP: Logged |

It depends on the rest of the chart, I suppose. Check out their natal first. The most reliable of men? He might shake up your ideas about relationships in a good way. Sun CNJ Saturn is also one I share with family members. Great in parent/child relationships as I have them in, but not necessarily so hot in a love relationship.

Wow, this is really interesting...I mean no, not the most reliable of men, lol. But it has challenged my view of relationship in, I feel, a good way. It's been a little traumatic though. Sun conj. Saturn...family stuff? Weird. He's 6 or 7 years younger than I. He's definitely got a wisdom to him, but I can't say things ever felt 'familial' ... don't know. Guess we'll see how it plays out at any rate. Thanks, blue moon ------------------ "The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do. " IP: Logged |

Every guy I've ever dated has had Uranus conjunct my descendant because I have it natally and I only date people my age.Generally, I'm usually pretty paranoid and it seems like every guy I've dated has been unreliable in some way (save for one, who also had Saturn conjunct my DSC). IP: Logged | |
