quote:
transiting Uranus ( re the Uranus to natal Venus transit ) is retrograde ..
and two degrees past exact .. and separating .. i.e. untill it goes direct again end november ..
at which time it will start to re-apply towards conjoining natal Venus

This is my transit that I need a little assistance interpreting.I'm understanding this two different ways whereas I know it is only meant one way. Defintely not the expert! Can somebody interpret this in a different way so I can better understand?

Transiting Uranus is about to turn direct and pass over your natal venus again in November. Probably for the last time.

At least that's how I understand it.

This person has Venus at approx 21 Pisces, yes?
Uranus moved direct/forward to 22Pis39 last June, whereupon it stationed/stopped and turned retrograde/backwards, so one hit (exact conjunction) of Uranus moving direct has already been experienced, and one hit of Uranus moving retrograde has been experienced. Uranus is still moving retrograde – it’s at 19Pis09 today – so it’s still separating (moving away) from the natal Venus position at 21 or so. On Nov 28th this year, it will station and begin moving direct again at 18Pis44. As it continues to move direct, it will apply (move closer to perfecting the aspect – ie, exact conjunction) and cross the nVenus for the 3rd & final hit next year.

What did you mean "understanding this two ways"??

Yes, 24 degrees to be exact. Now I understand better, I just needed an extra set of eyes. So, Uranus in my 7th house will be conjunct Venus next year. If I recall correctly, it will be in March 2010 approximately. Question: would it start applying before March of 2010? If so, when?

A transiting planet is “applying” when it is moving *towards* exact aspect to another planet. As soon as tUranus goes direct in November, it will start applying towards (getting closer to) your nVenus. You haven't had any hits from tUranus yet to your nVenus if it's at 24 degrees Pisces. tUranus got close last June when it made it forward to 22 degrees Pisces. You'll have 3 hits and the first one will be next April (2009).

Here’s an ephemeris for October ( http://www.khaldea.com/ephemcenter.shtml ) :

Listings in red mean the planet is retrograde.
If you move through the months (and years) you’ll note that tUranus is at 20Pis23 at the end of January, 21Pis51 at the end of February, 23Pis37 at the end of March, and 25Pis08 at the end of April.

You’ll endure several weeks of tUranus at the 24th degree of Pisces, then it will be gone, separating out of orb. Check the following months of the ephemeris to see exactly when hits #2 and #3 will happen.

I don't understand your original quote ( (is it from HD? )

quote:
transiting Uranus ( re the Uranus to natal Venus transit ) is retrograde ..
and two degrees past exact .. and separating .. i.e. untill it goes direct again end november ..
at which time it will start to re-apply towards conjoining natal Venus
"Two degrees past exact" what -- its stationing degree last June?? If your nVenus is at 24 Pisces, and tUranus is at 19 Pisces today, that's 5 degrees of separation, and they have yet to be conjunct.....

Azalaksh, wow thanks for taking time to explain everything to me. That is alot of information. Uh, yes, HD!? How do you know! I didnt know there was any ping-ponging around in transits, I thought they just went retro or direct, and thats another reason why I was kind of confused about this particular quote. Told ya, I'm still learning! There are so many layers to astrology.
