Poll:Yes or No. -- I ask this because I often myself engaging in streams of consciousness on here and I tend argue with myself (Libra Moon, seeing both sides?) Am I too cerebral? The more I'm on here, the more cerebral I think I am, am I finally seeing all the air in my chart? I thought *everyone* else was like that too

Yes. But we are not complaining. There's nothing wrong with too much thinking, except when you need to decide on something but cannot because you are being drowned by too much information, hence becoming paralyzed with over-analysis. Does that happen to you?IP: Logged |

Deux Yes and No, I do get paralytic sometimes but most of the time, it just takes a while before I make a decision but I am able to make a decision very firmly after that. Sometimes, I can make a decision very quickly, I can also do things like task orientation/strategise really well. But my problem is that I do overanalyse. Sometimes I go back and read the posts and I analyse everything to the nth degree, I wonder sometimes if it's hard to follow for other people. In reality, I've been told that I overexplain things when I speak to them and I don't explain in a straight line either. IP: Logged |

Mercury in Libra here. I overexplain the hell out of everything too and constantly go back and forth without even realizing it. So it's not only the Libra moon If I'm out with friends and we're going to dinner and I don't have a SPECIFIC craving, I'll want all options, not be able to choose any, make someone decide, then pick something else altogether, teehee. I do the same thing with movies. I'm rotten One time I was walking home and there were two different paths home, both equal distances...I took one, decided on the other, turned around, then decided on the other...I did this 4 TIMES. It was like being stuck in a loop. I couldn't decide whether to walk through the busy street and check out the cafes and shops, or take the pretty walk through the more park-like path...drove myself crazy. I was in full Libra mode that day hehe. ------------------ "The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do. " IP: Logged |

Astrology Forum has this effect. We all share ideas! I guess we invest the amount of time or energy that's available to us to plug in our ideas. It's great that LL is a vehicle in which to throw your cerebral content around 23!!! This is why we are here. We thrive on other's knowledge and experience. What we learn, we take with us, and at times feed back our experiences. So keep that Libran influence flowing!!! IP: Logged |

Amowls, I've never noticed that you were a thread killer!SW - I think you're great to talk to so fire away I was wondering whether my ramblings were talking incessantly or philosophical. I have Venus in Sag/9th and Jupiter in the 1st. Maybe it's all philsophical. What do you think? IP: Logged |

Maybe my Libra rising "identifies" with you and your posts, but as you know...I don't like it when you're not here to post. I learn a lot from you because you kind of "think out loud" in your posts, which is a great way for me to see how and why you come to your conclusions. In my case, if I'm with someone in person, I can really "feel" a lot of what they're trying to say. On a message board, it's easy to misinterpret or misunderstand someone. I've had that happen to me a few times here. I like that you explain the process. I also like that you work things out with samples and examples. That's the best way for me to understand and learn. And I do think you tend to wax philosophical at times, but I think that's a good thing. (Jupiter conj MC here!) I'd get bored learning about the trees without ever considering why they're in the forest! Keep on thinking! 8th IP: Logged |

haha try having mercury conjunct mars (exactly!!) conjunct sun in aquarius!! holay doodle. i cannot *not* think. oh well, it comes in handy. don't give it up! i prefer reading a well thought out, considered, weighed, balanced perspective than a reactive statement. i get how it might frustrate you, with that libra influence, but i think it is wise to keep perspective and not default to automatic opinion. there is something to be said for using your intuition and just going with a feeling, as opposed to thinking it to death though. i think a balance of the two is necessary, which can be tricky! but this is a DISCUSSION board after all! No, your posts are not too cerebral. Can anyone think too much? quote: If I'm out with friends and we're going to dinner and I don't have a SPECIFIC craving, I'll want all options, not be able to choose any, make someone decide, then pick something else altogether, teehee. I do that too and the only thing I have in Libra is Pluto. It drives my Aquarius friend bonkers, and he always says: "Stop being such a Virgo and pick something! You already know what you want!" However, he also knows how to play the system. He knows that if he doesn't help me with going through all of the options for long enough, I'll eventually get irritated and make the decision myself. ------------------ Virgo Sun/Aries Moon/Scorpio Rising IP: Logged |

Thanks yet again for the support I think Koi made an interesting point on another post. I feel rather embarrassed by my endless verbalisations because I'm opening up and feel vulnerable as a result. IP: Logged |
