uh oh.. i need to know.. is venus square saturn in a relationship chart doom? it's happening right now through to around the 10th of november (depending how wide the orb). i need to know if i should try to postpone it!! the rest of the chart for the day he wants to come is pretty good (sun conj. his moon, moon conj. his venus, and other good things), but isn't this a doozy?? or is that just in synastry and composite? is there anything positive about it? i will try to postpone it if i can.. it would be worth it if it's gonna make our relationship tough.

Is this the Cap/Scorp guy? This is not your first meeting, am i right? I don't think you should postpone it just because Venus and Saturn are forming a square in the sky. Just be positive, believe that everything will be alright, and try to have fun.

yeah it's him. well i haven't seen him in over a year, and this will be the first time in a romantic context. we've been talking on the phone and internet since july but i thought relationship charts were extremely important? i know it seems silly to piddle over details such as these, but we are both shy and nervous, so i don't want to knowingly engage any roadblocks!! he could postpone pretty easily.. i'm torn!

Saturn teaches lessons one needs to learn. You can choose to learn the lesson now or later. I understand you want very much for this relationship to work, but the question you need to ask yourself is, is this relationship meant to work?

ummm.. well i cannot know forsure, but it definitely feels right! are you saying that because he wants to visit during this square, it might not be meant to be? my thinking is, this square is indicitave of some inner work that needs to be done at this time *before* we get together.. we've both been feeling it's not quite the right time to meet, this last week, and i'm thinking there are some things we need to attend to emotionally, first, and that that is what this is indicating. i'm just wondering if getting together during the square would mean we'd carry that energy in our relationship.. and i'd like to be wise and proactive about this, as he is very important to me.

Er, this is a temporary aspect? It probably won't kill the relationship, I would just suspect things may get stormy at one point.

do you mean if we were to have this as our relationship chart, things could get stormy down the line because of that aspect? venus is squaring saturn until around the 9th of november. he is able to postpone and has agreed to because he gets my wacky ways..

Yes, I am afraid if you would get together for the first time during the square, you would carry that energy into your relationship, so better postpone the get together.
