From my own interpretative abilities, I would say that the Moon person would be able to emotionally connect and touch the deepest and private parts of IC person such that the connection goes the person's roots.

I have gemini moon and i love people with sag moons it falls on my IC but i dont know it its because its opposite my moon or because its on my IC i love their emotional nature. I also have jupiter uranus and neptune in sag.

I did read somewhere about britney and justins synastry that it makes you more needy of the other person

Yes I agree Belgz, it would make the IC person needy.

Planets in water houses are also very visceral and "psychic". At the IC, which is an important angle, these qualities would certainly be enhanced as well as neediness cf simply a 4th house Moon overlay.

Im very needy around Virgo moons and am very attached to them (even though I rag on them constantly on this forum) because they fall in my 4th/conjunct my IC.

Amowls...LOL@ your comment on ragging on Virgo moons. I've found that I like Virgo moons myself. I have two good male friends with Virgo moons and I swear, they are the best listeners! I could just let it belt for hours and go off on a complete rampage and they'll just sit there patiently, listening, completely present. Probably completely horrified. LOL. Nonetheless, it's nice...they're extremely nurturing, I've found.

Lara, from my experience, the moon/ascendant thing makes the ascendant person very aware of the moon person's feelings, and can pick up their moods very easily, and it's like they're on the same wavelength sometimes without even being fully aware of it.
Ideally, the asc. person is supposed to be able to fulfill the emotional needs of the moon person...but I think it depends a lot on both people, and whether they're willing to participate in that kind of emotional exchange. The moon person would definitely feel supported if the contact to the ascendant is harmonious. If not, it can make the moon person feel like the ascendant person isn't paying attention or something, or isn't fulfilling the needs at all.
The conjunct is pretty powerful, especially at a tight orb.

It's a pretty intimate aspect, I think.

My mom has her Moon on my IC ( Aquarius ). We are very close - almost like twins! lol But seriously, we know eachother's deepest thoughts and frequently finish eachother's sentences. Sometimes, it's like telepathy.

Man. This probably totally explains why I have a weird thing for Cancer men. Their sun falls right in my 4th. I just wanna mommy them to death. And being Cancers, they probably eat that right up anyway

But it also explains why I feel both close and yet repelled by Cancer women. It feels like they're up my *** most of the time and I'm like AAGHHH, get away, getoutgetoutgetout!!

Actually with this guy l have his sun/venus on my DC and his moon/mars/NN on my AC!
My pluto is on his DC.. it's pretty intense but l imagine the IC aspects are just wonderfully cosy and intimate

Lara, that sounds like good stuff you've get there...strong medicine I've got something very similar with someone, and it IS intense!!!

As for the IC/4th house stuff, I think it depends...I've had my Uranus, Venus, and Pluto dumped into a guy's 4th house, along with my Black Lilith Moon and Saturn squaring his IC. He freaked out LOL. He couldn't get away fast enough...I think I can still see the dust trails, teehee....actually, he keeps coming back, but I swear it's like he's got this deer-in-the-headlights look when he looks at me. And his moon is right on my ascendant too, so I KNOW he's terrified. Heehee.

Oh well, only those willing to take the risk need apply.
