How powerful do you really think parallels and contrparallels are in a natal chart and in what way are they different than a conjunction or opposition? I have venus closely parallel pluto, but no natal aspect between the two and I act VERY much like someone with a close major aspect between the two. What about in synastry? How close should the orb be and how would you interpret?
