Has anyone had a relationship with someone with whom they've shared this aspect? Is the textbook definition correct in that you can't seem to make eachother feel loved? Thanks, 8th IP: Logged |

I've had it squared with someone , smack in the middle of all these other sexy aspects...it felt weird. Like none of the other personal aspects were translated somehow because this intimacy barrier got in the way. Does that make sense? We had Pluto square Venus Mars conj Venus Moon conj Venus Mars trine Moon Neptune trine Venus .....and then Venus square Venus. No intimacy...in fact, downright cold at times. It was odd. ------------------ "The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do. " IP: Logged |

I've had this aspect before as well. And what you do to try and make them feel loved or welcome, and it feels like its going unnoticed or unappreciated. Its like no matter what you do, its not enough for some reason. This has been with closer friends in the past for me... I have Libra Venus, and they had Aries Venus. Venus Opposing Venus is very frustrating to me. However...Venus Conjunct Venus is just beautiful and one of my favorites. IP: Logged |

I had this aspect in a platonic relationship with someone I used to work with. It made our relationship very-business like, but there was always this very strong bond between us and loyalty. We always had each other's backs and protected each other from our backstabbing colleagues. It's really not a bad aspect for a friendship or business relationship to have, but it would be very difficult for a romantic relationship since feelings aren't discussed. I can say though I never once felt unappreciated or taken advantage of with my former coworker. IP: Logged |

I think venus opposite venus can be quite nice in terms of adding attraction. I've seen it in the relationships of a couple of friends and cant say that it had a hugely negative effect. Your tastes and expressions of love might just not be totally in sinc. I'd say venus square venus is far more of a disruptive aspect. I had this with an ex-boyfriend and our tastes just did not gel. Also, I think both partners will just never be able to show love exactly how the other person would like it, because basically your understanding of 'showing love' will be something else than the partners.IP: Logged |
