I can't find anything on the web explaining this placement. I apparently have it until 2010 and I'd like to know more about it.

My dob is 22 October 1978, London, England, 12:30am.

Progressed Moon in Leo

From the security and safety of the Progressed Moon in Cancer phase comes a desire for self-expression. Energies are directed outwards as we feel more confident moving about in the world, and we have a greater need to be heard, seen, and noticed. An increased desire to create, and to display our talents is often experienced during this phase.

My progressed Sun and Moon are in Leo. and whats funny is that my moon is 0 degrees leo im not exactly sure when it turned into leo but just yesterday I got a haircut after a year of growing it and got my hair dyed blonde with lighter blonde highlights. I guess you could say the leo didnt waste anytime showing its colors.. Im told it looks very good. just thought it was Ironic

Read here on Secondary Progressions:

Another good resource is Steven Forrest's book on transits and progressions called "The Changing Sky," the second volume to his book on the natal chart called "The Inner Sky."
