I feel at times that I can be both with a venus conjuct uranus and a venus conjunct saturn aspect but I'd like to know if the are any other ones. Are you the one with a crowd around you or the one surving the punch in the corner? lol Please do tell... IP: Logged

I have a very strange indirect conflict in my chart being Aries Rising conj Jupiter and Sun in Aqu opp Saturn. I have a party face and that is my Jupiter and then I can be very morose and unavailable and that is my Sun stuff. It carries over into life as well. However, saying all that, I actually don't like parties very much, being forced to make conversation with strangers, only a few hit on song. IP: Logged

If I'm in a mood to be social, I'll shift into high gear and flutter around and socialize with anyone, and make nonstop jokes. Other times, I'm not interested in anything but only one-on-one on a really personal level. Mostly I switch into this gear because I hate popcorn conversation. Get a couple of drinks in me and either personality (and who knows what else) might pop out I think my Aries moon is a wild card. Sun in the 5th definitely gets restless. But Moon oppose Uranus is highly unpredictable too - I just don't know what kind of mood I'm going to be in LOL. And Venus square Jupiter wants to have a good time, screw the cost lol. Saturn trines my Venus and Mars though...so I sometimes just hang back and watch, or go completely silent. IP: Logged

Lara unregistered	posted November 04, 2008 04:45 AM i'm a weird cocktail. I like to be aloof at a party yet i party hard. I don't take drugs nor drink more than a couple of JD's of something but l love to dance and l am an exhibitionist... which is scary as i'm never quite sure what i'm going to do. In party mode l dress a bit outrageously and l do like to shock l have to admit. I'm always the one at the front of a gig, using up all the dance floor and surrounded by friends who for some reason think i'm very cool. I like the attention and yet l don't like it and am known to just disappear home to bed without any warning lol I'm leo rising with taurus sun/aries moon. Maybe uranus on 7th makes me aloof and then bolt out of the blue. IP: Logged

I've always been the odd one out. I'd be the one hiding under the table that the punch bowl sits on! I'm a little old for parties (38), but my ex husband used to take me to keggers and I'd sit on the couch getting drunk while he was the life of the party. We were soooo oposite socially. I never could strike up a conversation. When I first started my job my boss told me that he thought I was stuck up. But that wasn't it.. I am EXTREMELY shy. It seems to take me forever to warm up to people. After a few months my boss and I were really good friends... GemLover unregistered	posted November 06, 2008 02:15 AM Social wallflower. lol. I enjoy chatting with people I've met but I'm not loud or crazy at parties, and I definitely don't seek attention. I also usually get either bored or tired after a couple of hours and want to go home to bed - I don't enjoy moving on to the next party or bar, I'd rather just go to ONE place and then go home. I'm such an old lady. Here I think we have a combo of the homebody/introvert/lazy nature of my Taurus sun, the chattiness of my Sag rising, and the need for privacy/alone time of my Scorpio moon. My Venus in Gemini only comes out to play if there are funny or interesting men paying me attention - I'm not necessarily talking about attraction here though, just social fun-ness. That doesn't happen very often though, and I admit that most of the time these days I only go to parties etc because Mr Gem wants to. I did enjoy a barbecue we went to last week, but the main reason I enjoyed it was cos I started talking to a group of girls about astrology and we didn't stay for more than a couple of hours. Two hours is my limit and then I'm bored and the whole thing falls flat from there... lol IP: Logged
