Do any of you women practice astrobiology?

quote:
. . . A woman can conceive only during a certain approximately two-hour period of each Lunar month, when the Sun and the Moon are exactly the same number of degrees apart as they were at the moment of the woman's first breath at birth . . . Without exception, a woman can conceive at no other time than this approximately two-hour period, easily determined if her birth data are known . . . It's awesomely foolproof. And awesomely profound.

My Sun is in Aries at 6 degrees. My Moon is in Pisces at 13 degrees. So this means whenever the Sun is 23 degrees past the Moon, I can become pregnant. For example, the Sun is in Scorpio at 12 degrees. If the Moon were in Libra at 19 degrees today, and I wanted to, I could conceive.

Am I interpreting this correctly?

Any experiences/stories?

No.

I tried to conceive when I was ovulating, which worked.

Just keep at it for a month and should work.

Just to clarify, I'm bringing this method up for birth control reasons -- I don't want to get pregnant!

ok seriously,

I know the exact date my 2nd child was conceived cos it was halloween night lol

So my sun is 5'54 taurus and my moon is 18'52 aries... so whenever the sun is 17 degrees past the moon l can get pregnant?

so on the night l conceived the sun was 8' scorpio and the moon was 21' gemini.
hmm

interesting that the conceived sun is opposing my natal sun and both are almost at same degree.

Maybe you are onto something here kfn.

Okay.. when I was trying to conceive, a friend of mine at work told me that if you count 14 days after the first day of your mensus, you should be ovulating.
She also told me that when you ovulate...well this will sound kind of off but.. she said you will see this when you...wipe. It will be a whitish slimy look.. as if you just sneezed. Yeah okay I said it lol.
Sooooo I was at work exactly 2 weeks after the first day of my mensus and sure enough, there was the slimy stuff... so I went home and made a baby lol.. he's turning 9 next month <sighs>.
So maybe a little TMI there, but oh well lol!

I was advised by Mr Gem's brother to look out for "the stringy stuff" and attempt to get pregnant then! I almost fell over with shock when he said that to me! LOLOL

Lara - your sun is conjunct mine at 5 degrees Taurus!

But really I think that only a two-hour window of possibility per month is very unlikely. BUT it could be that we are more fertile than usual at that time, and I read somewhere else that if your ovulation and your moon cycle thingie are at completely different time of the month then it's possible there are two opportunities per month. In my case, it would be at the full moon. I really don't know how true that theory is, but I believe there's a calendar you can print out from astro.com.
