Well, the popular astrological opinion was that this wasn't supposed to happen. Now they'll have to justify it some other way.IP: Logged |

Saturn oppose Uranus in full tilt today? Old structure versus change? Wasn't that part of it? In your face Saturn!!! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!Sorry, I know that was juvenile of me, but I'm having some annoying Saturn transits now. This election has effected me on some profoundly emotional levels.

Finally! A man of peace. Thank God. He's going to be good for everyone - not just Americans. What he brings is to all humanity.IP: Logged |

Acoustic,There is nothing wrong with being wrong. Astrologers are human. Some astrologers predicted an Obama win. It really depends on the astrologer as well as the system. As for me,I am very glad that I was wrong! I will be happy to throw away the Magi Astrology book! I voted for Obama and donated to his campaign. I was hoping that he would win. I am very happy now that he's been elected. History made and democrats back in the White House.
It's great to be wrong!!!!

Good to see you Glaucus. I was thinking of you earlier, and not because you predicted a McCain win, but rather because a mixed race man won the election. It's a good day.Peace and love to you. IP: Logged |

AG & GlaucusJust an outsiders view - but maybe the issue of colour is not so prevalent - but the right person for the right job - and the right person for the time and age - to take everyone where humanity needs to go into the future. The issue of race, sex, sexuality, etc, is not of issue unless you make it one and the balance can go always go either way. IP: Logged |

Obama's presidential campaign was the only one I've ever donated to. I'm glad astrologers can be wrong. Not everything should be predictable. Surprises make the world sparkle Uranus opposed Saturn...that was a major theme for the election, no? IP: Logged |

Change vs old structure. Astrologically, Uranus has the upper hand. But you still need those roots. IP: Logged |

I think it is about not just race but symbolism...Yes, it's about being qualified for the job, but the US is also highly image-conscious and image-driven, and in this case Obama's diverse background does represent a new, more integrated face. So it's a nice addition.I don't think that's shallow of me to say. IP: Logged |

Not in the slightest. It supports what I'm trying to say. That we're seeing ourselves as one humanity - regardless of the minor details. And that's where we're going. IP: Logged |

well, i hate/ have to say it but I TOLD YOU SO! and it was the astrology that helped me believe that someone who looked chance-less would be able to make it. this guy may not have a loaded 10th house but he has leader with the good of mankind written all over his chart.as his fellow leo ox i have to say i am SERIOUSLY HAPPY!$#()%&)__$*(_!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOBAMA! what a way to demonstrate a jupiter return!! as the grandmother of a mixed race boy in a "single parent" family, i have to say that i voted for the man, not his colour, but we NEEDED to show we weren't stuck in the same old template, same old choices, and we did. along with michelle obama, i am PROUD of america for this election. and happy for the significance of this to my grandson's future. to say that race is not the issue is a cliche, but true. but unfortunately our national character MADE it AN issue. it's about time and thank god i didn't have to vote for his skin colour, i voted for his character. i look forward to those who compared him to hitler and trotsky having different views with hindsight....this opens up the playing field in this country big time. but let's remember changing the world starts with changing ourselves. and now we need to pray that this translates into a great presidency....AND do OUR bit. I don't know about Obama's astrology in relation to the presidency since I never really had a look, but perhaps what some astrologers saw in terms of progressed aspects or transits was indicative of his grandmother passing away...?Either way, even though I'm not an American, I'm so supremely happy that he won; so symbolic. wahoo! tears of joy in this house!!Love, i got a newsletter from moses siregar today saying that obama's grandmother's death accounted for some transits that he initially interpreted as meaning a loss for obama. wow i just checked out his chart. i'm not a great analyst or anything, especially as far as political trends go, but he's got 1st degree cancer venus, so venus at an aries point, in a nurturing sign, on his IC in the 4th, so i really see that he CARES and that he does see the UNITED states as one family, and has the ablitiy to bring about change in a more conscientious and caring way. his sun and mercury in the 6th bode well for real genuine feelings and efforts to serve, as well as strong virgo and capricorn placements. aqua rising is very revolutionary, and his gemini moon will be sharp and clear and open. seems like a great chart for a president to me!!
