Hi to all,

All three Natal Charts are not from Photobucket.

1. ZA ZA GABOR (actress):
why she has married so many times (8 x), I have no idea. I think, her hour of birth is wrong. She didn't look like AC Virgo.

2. FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE (nun) had in 7th house:
Saturn, Pluto, NN and Chiron. As AC Virgo she could be alone (many Virgo's are). She had Venus square Saturn, what is not the best aspect for marriage. Somebody wrote that with that aspect is not possible to get children. Maybe somebody can write different.

With ruler of AC in 8th she had other mission: to help other people.

In common: her Venus has only hard aspect, but that is not the reason to be nun.

3. GRETA GARBO (Actress):
her ruler of AC, Mercury and ruler of 7th, Jupiter are in square. That is not very good combination for marriage.

Does "born into" enter the equation?

Florence Nightingale made a choice, she had a mission, a drive. She didn't want a man getting in the way.

Older men in authority liked Florence. She had friends in high places, and used her contacts to get support for her healing projects. Saturn in 7th CNJ Chiron. The Nodes Conjunct Chiron and Pluto.

The details escape my memory, but I do believe she had some form of relationship with an older married man, who helped her career. Not necessarily sexual.

Saturn in the 7th in Aries Square to Venus in 10th in Cancer could mean she was prepared to use her femininity and her relationships to get what she wanted. It was for the greater good, but it does seem like she had a reputation for being ruthless. She had to be, I guess. A woman in a man's world, she has made nursing the respectable career it is today. You can see that in the planetary interaction.

Saturn in tense aspect to Venus on a man's chart MIGHT indicate problems with children. It doesn't mean it isn't possible, and some connection with the 5th would be needed to make me sit up and take note.

I have read last night, that people with Mars in Sagittarius are not very lucky to get married. They can be long time alone.

Greta Garbo had Mars in Sagittarius.

There is also about Venus in Aquarius: those people like freedom.
Venus in 9th (especially in Aquarius) means also some kind of celibate:
they want something higher, what is not possible to get.

I have three women with personal planets in Leo, they were never married:

1. Greta Garbo had Venus in Leo,
2. Florence Nightingale had Mars in Leo,
3. Mother Theresa had Venus in Leo.

What else they have in common:

1. Greta Garbo had Sun in Virgo,
2. Florence Nightingale had AC Virgo,
3. Mother Theresa had Sun and Mars in Virgo.

Any comment here?

They had better things to do?

Greta Garbo had a long-term lesbian relationship.

Florence Nightgale didn't want a man getting in the way telling her what to do.

Mother Teresa was a bride of Christ.

There's no one element of a chart says someone will never get married. It's too easy to cite an example of someone with any of them who married young and stayed that way until death.

Hi BM,

You are right: there is one English actor (no birth time) with Venus square Saturn and has no children. He is very charming man and I like him very much. You can imagine, who he is?

Here is another one, that has refused all the men:

Elisabeth I, Queen of England.

One Virgo more!

I should write here: Virgo and relationships!

BM,

Right! He makes me laugh with his movies. He looks like a great boy and he is not born Gemini, but Virgo (how many of them I have today?)

Hi BM,

There is good book about great women in the history:
from Cleopatra until the last dead famous woman. There are no women, they are still alive.

It is very interesting book: about writers, actresses, journalists, politicians, queens, princesses, nuns and other. Even Jane Austen is there, my favourite writer.

There are dates and place of birth as also date and place of death. Hour of birth I had to find myself.

It makes sense, really, Virgo is all about quality.

Virgo would rather go without than settle for something that doesn't meet her exacting standards.

Saturn in the 7th is also interesting, responsibility in close relationships. Two ladies there (Florence, Elizabeth) who chose to go it alone and be master of their own households.

BM,

I hope that some Virgo comes here and gives comment.

It wouldn't be bad.

I had a friend: Virgo Sun and AC Taurus. We understood each other very well, but she always gave comments about my hair, my look: your hair is today bad; you look good or bad ect.

She was not typically Virgo (Leo Venus), but for criticizing she was born enough.

All people around me are talking about aunts, sisters and other Virgo's, how they are difficult people.

Sorry, I don't know what Sun sign are you?

Hi bunnies,

Virgo is more slender than Leo. Virgo has nice shape and very often nice look.
From other side they are difficult as you see there, what I wrote.

Leo people are in that area easy and they laugh enough, they are most of the time in good mood, what Virgo's people are not.

Interesting post. I was not aware that venus in 9th meant some type of celibacy.
I have a friend with venus in virgo in the 9th and that sort of fits.

Buena, I am Gemini Sun with Scorpio Rising.

I am married to Aqua Sun with Virgo Rising. Sorry, Lara, he has been married twice. The quality control was off the first time, he might say the second time, too.

BM,

Now I understand:
Gemini is the sign that always helps me;
AC Scorpio is my favourite Ascendant.

As you see, everywhere is Synastry! No wonder I like it very much!

Mr bm is not slender. He is heavy-featured. Thick eyebrows. He has also requested his picture not be posted on Lindaland.

Virgo giveaways:

* Complains about my shoddy housekeeping skills

* Gets annoyed at mess and clutter

* Points out when jobs need doing

* Technical knowledge and skill

* Good personal hygiene

* Perfectionism. Ask him to do a job, he will spend hours doing it right, to a high standard.

* Particular about grammar and the use of language. Corrects my English, which is not his mother tongue.

* Annoyed at finding out his rising sign is Virgo. Refuses to see it as being anything like him, or more particularly that he is anything like his mother, who is also Virgo Rising. And a perfectionist, immaculate housekeeper, etc, and so on.

Famous Virgo risers are for example Madonna, Paul McCartney and Woody Allen. Perfectionists? Probably. And all been married at least twice, I think? The number of marriages can hardly be dictated by the rising sign

I dont like generalisations
My bussiness partner has venus oppose saturn and her wife has sun square saturn they are expecting a baby..
I have venus square saturn..I dont know if I will ever be a mother but I dont want to discourage myself about it..
And for virgo..
I know many virgos..They are generally married,if not in a long term relationship..
I totally agree that venus in a tense aspect with saturn doesnt help to build a perfect, lucky, happy love life or marriage but I know some people with no negative saturn-personal planet aspect but no marriage and no childeren..
I am not in a good mood today I guess,Im sorry but sometimes when I see some posts I get upset..It is like nothing's gonna be all right or it's like well o.k I have venus square saturn and my love life always sucks..
Sorry buena maybe I went too far, today is not the best day, forgive me it is not just your thread, some posts here make me a little pessimistic thats all..

Hi to all,

Here is not the topic about Virgo people, but somehow I have collected Virgo people's Charts. I didn't know that Florence Nightingale had something with Virgo. One month ago I have read this book (very good book) and found her between many others.

BM,
what I wrote how Virgo people look like is about female Virgo. The only man Virgo I know, was my ex doctor. It is true, he is not slender at all (AC Capricorn), but he is very kind and helpful doctor.
There are two actors: Hugh Grant and Sean Connery, I like very much.

About female: the first dentist here I have visited (2002) was young female Virgo. She told me something about my teeth’s, I was shocked. She was right, but the way she told wasn't right. After I told there (to manager) I want to change dentist. I did but had to wait.
By the control next time I have asked her for birth data’s: she is Virgo with AC Virgo.

In fact I know very few Virgo's or AC Virgo. I have no planets there and Virgo belongs to my 12th house. I know altogether five females: they are all slender and have a nice body. Two are Aquarius, AC Virgo; one is Virgo, AC Taurus and one my ex good friend in England, Hoylake is Virgo, but have no idea, what AC she is.
My good friend here (Cancer, AC Cancer and Moon in Taurus): she always tells stories about her two aunts, one is AC Virgo and the other is Virgo Sun.

As I have no planets in Virgo, Sagittarius and Aquarius so I know very few people born in that sign. On contrary I knew before many Cancers and Pisces because have lived beside big lake. I was wondering why so many water signs live and work beside the lake.

Now, I have war with my health and know very few people: they are Cancers, Taurus, Aries and most of them have AC Scorpio.

I am very quite person and don't talk too much, so I can't be sociable because of my health situation. I don't ask anybody anything if I don't have to. If they come to me, that is the right thing. For me is better, people choose me. As AC Libra I choose wrong people.
