Each of our connections with another human being is completely unique, like a fingerprint or a snowflake. That's why I don't believe in "soulmates"--I think all human beings are soulmates! (Must be my Pisces Jupiter.) We are social animals, and everyone is equally complete on their own, but also thrives on social and romantic involvement.

Everybody is complete on their own. Loving someone is different than falling in love/lust or infatuation. I don't believe that there is somebody out there that was hand-picked just for me.

Yes, it is possible not to have a soulmate, and personally I think its way better to go through life without the anticipation of one. That way if it happens it can be a pleasant surprise, and if it doesn't you weren't expecting it in the first place. I always think of a soulmate as a person you're in a relationship with at the end of your life whom, when you look back over your time together, you realize really was your soulmate all along. quote: Is there anything in the chart to show that a person is complete on their own?
I think all charts can show a person as complete. I think we might get muddled into believing that we're not complete in some areas, but its generally not something some confidence and determination can't repair. IP: Logged |

I agree that people are, but alot do not recognise this. I have been slammed in the past for saying - "I'm complete on my own." I've been told that one is incomplete without their soulmate. IP: Logged |

A lot of people around me don't believe in astrology either. That doesn't change my mind about it - I just find people who do IP: Logged |

Yin, no one has/can change my mind about soulmates or relationships (I'm stubborn ), but there are those who doggedly believe they are are incomplete without another person in their life - I wanted to know of there is anything in the chart to show those who are or rather recognise that they are complete on their own.IP: Logged |

ummm yeah,"complete on their own" would mean spiritually evolved, secure and confident, wise. Which aspects are those? IP: Logged |

Yes it's possible not to meet a soulmate. But it doesn't mean your life is less complete. I just want a mate, not necessarily a soulmate. We want a mate so we can have someone to share our joys and sorrows with. "You complete me" is just a portion of a Hollywood formula that says there must be at least one quotable quote in a movie to ensure it will sell well. IP: Logged |

Well, you'd first have to start with your view of soul mates in general. Like, I don't think I'll ever meet mine because my idea of a soul mate is too high. So I've accepted that fact and have decided to just settle.IP: Logged |

Lara, I don't know but if you (genuinely) want to know the answer to that question, why don't you start a new thread & ask others? Or was it a sarcastic response? - it's hard to tell with that smiley. IP: Logged |

"spiritually evolved, secure and confident, wise."Well, I think those are things that can't be dictated by the chart--they have to do with how actively you work with and learn from your chart, whatever its aspects.

Maybe a progressed chart can tell, because it shows how we have grown or evolved internally and psychologically.IP: Logged |

I have always felt this way like I don't have a soulmate. I have never felt a deep connection with anybody I have ever been with. I don't think that there is somebody out there that can make me feel this way. It would be nice though I am not saying I wouldn't want one. I just don't think I have one. IP: Logged |

I have quite a few soulmates - and they all interact with what for me are the most profound parts of my natal chart - but I wouldn't say that any of them complete me. However they do tend to 'highlight' or even nurture parts of me that are already there. Usually helping to bring about something that my soul needs for growth. IP: Logged |

You can always make a deeper connection to yourself & IMO, that's the most important relationship there is. IP: Logged |
