If you're versed in astrology, you could try an MC persona chart.I wonder what Chiron, the wounded healer, does while sitting on your MC. I wonder if that has any implications. I would guess that you are creative, and may need to be doing something creative. That doesn't bode well for having a clear cut vision of what your career path should be. I also notice the ruler of your 10th, Venus, being in Gemini in the 11th. That could give a little insight. Gemini suggests communication, working with your hands. The 11th suggests a humanitarian focus, or else suggests that you'll work within groups of people. I don't know the interpretation for Uranus opposite MC off hand, but that could keep your work situation from being as stable as you'd like. IP: Logged |

Hi AG, thank you. Here is my MC persona chart. I don't really know how to interpret these. I think chiron on the MC must mean something, because of the difficulties. I don't know if mars in 29th degree in 10th could have anything to do with it. It's true that I like to be creative. I was never really interested in careers in communications, but I do like to work in groups and do things with my hands. I studied fashion design but haven't gotten to develop in that field. Sometimes I want to be a psychologist, sometimes a designer, sometimes an astrologer, and the list goes on. IP: Logged |

I need to get going, but right off the bat I see all the angles in Cardinal signs, which suggests that you should be initiating projects in whatever you do.Your Sun is in Taurus, which suggests that you'll be tenacious/stubborn. Sun and Mercury in Taurus in the 10th suggests communications in a Taurean area. Could also mean singing in my book. Cancer AC suggests that you'll appear nurturing. Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn in the 2nd suggest that you should be good with money in your career. You do have multiple t-squares, which point to Pisces in the 8th for resolution. This suggests merging with and healing people. IP: Logged |

Uranus oppose Midheaven could indicate possible career as an astrologer....it can also indicate a person that is self employed which astrologers are any way. It can also indicate a career that could be unconventional. Also it could involve technology including especially computers. It also be about innovation. It can als be a career involving activism due to it being a planet of change, liberation, social causes. Of course, this can fit with politics too.hard Uranus-Midheaven people tend to be self employed because of strong need for independence in the career as well as being unconventional. These could be the rebels that can't work for any boss, think outside the box, and this could lead them to start their own businesses. They might even be viewed as radicals of a liberal kind too. Chiron conjunct Midheaven could indicate a career that involves healing arts. it could be stuff like chiropractor,massage,herbs,etc..anything that falls under holistic, new age. Also it can fit with a career in Astrology. Of course, it can involve teaching,coaching,guiding,and/or sharing wisdom in other ways. Chiron is said to be a maverick too,and so it can involve that too. the confusion in regards to career is reflected by your 10th house ruler Venus in Gemini oppose Neptune. but it can also be a career where you can your inspiration,idealism,sensitivity,compassion.Yeah...this fits with being a designer....it can be any career that involves being creative, artistic.
the North Lunar Node in Virgo conjunct Saturn in 2nd seems like you are here to make your money in a way where you can be of disciplined with service, health, routine. So I thinking that it's more along the lines of the healing arts, and that can be astrology. Your Pluto in 3rd house indicates a penetrating mind that fits with psychology, but also can be good for Astrology too. Your Moon in Cancer in 12th house indicates a high degree of sensitivity, instinctive need to nurture in the areas of selfless service, and it trines Uranus, and involves detachment, objectivity, mental intuition...this would be good for psychology an Astrology. Your Mercury in Cancer is also intuitive, emotional based thinker, and that can be good for understanding feelings. That can be helpful in healing, helping professions.
if you want to look at health stuff, you can check out the placement of Hygeia in your chart. Hygeia is named after the Greek Goddess of Health. Hygeine comes from that word.
also...Ceres is prominent in medical, healer, caretaker, nurturing type professions

Office manager.Astrology can be an enjoyable career, but always good to start on a PT basis, keep it as a hobby that you earn from, before moving onto FT work. Lots of differences, but Psychologist and Astrologer are linked very well. Good knowledge of astrology will help in the field of psychology and also the same in reverse. If you do take a psychology route, maybe best to keep your astro quest quiet. Not all understand it. IP: Logged |

I also couldn't help noticing that your Midheaven squares the geocentric North Neptune Node in Leo...that adds more emphasis of the things that I told you about your 10th house ruler Venus oppose Neptune in regards to career.also....it looks like your Venus is also conjunct the heliocentric Venus Node in Gemini, and that is a strong Venus energy connection overall....so emphasis on aesthetics, love, relationships, being social with it being in the sign of Gemini...strong emphasis on communications IP: Logged |

Wow, thank you guys. That was very interesting, because even if a have a creative tendency, I do need discipline through routine as Glaucus said. My current work is as an executive assistant to a VP and that gives me structure, but it's not my passion. Since I have so much water in my chart it's hard for me to discipline myself, to be in order. Sometimes I'm afraid of being self employed because I think I would just be scattered and wake up late in the morning and just waste time. So an office hour job helps me not be scattered. But I guess I have to learn to do it myself since I don't want to be an assistant all my life. Many people have told me I would make a good psycologist. I don't know if I'll study that, but I think I will definitely start studying astrology because I really really love it! Glaucus, I don't know anything about heliocentric and geocentric charts, but what you said was helpful. I've never had a thing for communications. I always thought that I wasn't good at writing because I'm too concise, or that it's just not rich language using. I can be very quiet (mercury in cancer) or talkative (mercury conjunct asc), contradicting. But sometimes I do find it hard to express what I'm thinking or feeling with words. I do consider myself an aesthetic person. The good thing is that I'm not as lost as I was before when I was younger. I guess it took me longer than most people to find my path. IP: Logged | |
