Just to ses what house Cancer is on. Those issues brought up on the return.

Cancer is in 1st LR house.
Moon is in 5th LR house, conjunct Mars

Thinking about it logically, your lunar return chart will show what area/how/why/when/whatever your natal house ruling Cancer will function over the next lunar month.

The standard method used for years is just as a general prediction tool for the month ahead, rather than just looking where Cancer is in your natal, to be specific.

Just look at what house Cancer is on and which house/sign the Moon is placed. This is for your Lunar return chart which you mentioned above.

My Natal ASC is scorpio.
LR ASC falls in natal 8th house

Cancer is on your 9th house, which tells you what theme your LR will be about. 9th house matters in general Good if you are at Uni.
