I looked at some asteroids in Obama's chartthere is a lot of talk about a possibility of being a reincarnation of an Abraham Lincoln. What if he is the reincarnation of somebody else,but lived in Lincoln's time?
well...my first thought was another man born of interracial white and black parentage like Barack. He was the son of a black slave woman and a white man who might have been his master. He taught himself to read. He ran away with the help of his wife. He ended up being a leading abolutionist. He made numerous speeches about his life as a
slave. He was so eloquent that there were people that doubted that he was actually a slave. He ended up writing a book about his life,and he ended up being one of those wanted for capture. He ran away to England. Later on his English friends bought his freedom,and he returned back
to the United States. To make the long story short, he ended up befriending Abraham Lincoln,and was an advisor to him in regards to black soldiers in the Union Army.
He was an abolitionist, women's suffragist, editor, orator, author,statesman and reformer. Called "The Sage of Anacostia" and "The Lion of Anacostia
He became the first African-American nominated as a Vice Presidential candidate,running on the Equal Rights Party ticket with Victoria Woodhull, the first woman to run for President of the United States.
He was a firm believer in the equality of all people, whether black,female, Native American, or recent immigrant. He was fond of saying, "I would unite with anybody to do right and with nobody to do wrong."
as he got older,his wife died. He ended up being remarried to a white feminist that was 20 years younger than him.
He got flack from many whites and blacks.

I checked out Obama's chart
I checked both Lincoln and Douglas in his natal chart.
His Lincoln is is in 28'50 Capricorn Retrograde in 12th conjunct his Saturn in 25'20 Capricorn Retrograde and Jupiter in 0'52 Retrograde in 12th, sextile his Midheaven in 28'53 Scorpio,quincunx/semisextile Lunar Nodes in 27'18 Leo/Aquarius.
His Lincoln sextile Midheaven with 3 minutes of arc is amazing. This would seem that Abraham Lincoln did shape his life in some way,and that he genuinely liked him and had affinity with him
but
His Douglas is in 28'05 Scorpio in 9th conjunct his Midheaven in 28'53 Scorpio sextile the conjunction of his Lincoln in 28'50 Capricorn Retrograde in 12th and Jupiter in 0'52 Aquarius Retrograde in 12th,square Lunar Nodes in 27'18 Leo/Aquarius in 7th/1st and Uranus in 25'16 Aquarius in 7th
His Douglas conjunct his Midheaven with 48 minutes of arc is amazing too...especially when you consider the Cosmobiologists and Uranian Astrologers view that Midheaven is the soul, the "I".
None of this means that I believe he is a reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln nor Frederick Douglass. There is no way to prove that he is either of those people. I don't want to make statements about things that I am not sure of. like Obama answered about abortion, I am saying "It's above my paygrade" I am sure that a great spiritual
master like Yogananda knows far more about this than I do,and so I would rather say that I have no clue about his pastlives. It's possible that he could have known both men in pastlives.

I am surprised that with all the talk about Abraham Lincoln,there was no talk about Frederick Douglas who was considered the most prominent African American in Lincoln's time and who was known for his excellent oratory. He probably was even just as good as an orator as
Abraham Lincoln an maybe even better.
I first read about him as a teenager. I read a book about him,and I couldn't put it down. His life was very inspiring. I admired the guy for his idealism in that he wanted unity and he embraced both his heritages that he married women of both races and defended it by acknowleding his biracial parentage. He stood up for himself and others and spoke out against injustices. IMHO He paved the way for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
