Hi
I just realized that starting this January Pluto will be transiting my 6th house and will stay there for almost 20 years. Hmm so I'm starting to wonder what might be around the corner. Perhaps transformation of self through work situations or health situations??? My 6th is ruled by Cap. My South Node is also in the 6th. Other aspects include opposition to my Cancer Sun, NN, and mercury. Sextile to natal Pluto, Uranus, and Mars in Virgo 2nd house. Sextile to my Pisces moon and Chiron 8th house. Clearly all these aspects will not occur at once but it's starting to make me wonder. I think it could be good and bad depending on the other aspects. At some point Pluto will create the tail of a kite to my own natal kite/trine (the tail of the natal kite is Virgo/Pluto 2nd house) So this means this Cap Pluto will be running the show on and off. I look forward to when Jupiter transits my 10th house creating a trine.

any thoughts??

Sorry I do not have the ability to post my chart. My info is July 11, 1963 7:53am EST Cleveland,Ohio

Kat, That's an amazing 4th, 8th and 12th House Chart!

Pluto is still going to be in your 5th house but now in Capricorn.. So yes, I believe you should start to feel the effect of 6th.. especially if you follow the whole house system.

thanks for responding mblover

Many many years ago, I saw a TV astrologer and when she saw my chart she was horrified at my 12th house. It was as is that was all she could see. She told me how I needed to move etc. When I asked her about creative pursuits, she kind of blew it off. It was that reading that got me into reading/studying astrology because i figured my chart couldn't really be that bad and it isn't. I've got a fabulous grand trine/kite.
Thanks for noticing.

Yeah...I love the kite too!

a matter of fact, I will trade you my Moon,Saturn,Jupiter-Neptune t-square for it!

hahahahha

seriously, I have problems with astrologers like that are so singleminded, focusing on only one thing. That's one of the reasons that I focus mainly on planetary geometry in the chart because it shows strong themes in a chart that are in correlation with strong themes in a person's life as well as strong emphasis on a certain personality type. Besides the 12th house is not necessarily bad. It can be the collective unconscious in general...it can be about psychic, mystical stuff. It is also house associated with selfless service and figure into things like charity, compassion.

as for transiting Pluto in your 6th house, well..the main thing is that it's transformation involved in daily routine, health work, and service. Whether it's negative or positive...well..that all depends on you and well whoever you might be involved with and interact with

Pluto in 6th could indicate possible dietary changes too..especially if focused on one's health.

also there could be workaholic scenario due to the intense focus on work. It definitely could indicate power issues at work too, but the good thing is that you can be major force reckon with in the work environment, and that could even lead to much respect and even a promotion...so there could be a chance for you obtaining power in the work environment.

Thanks Glaucus
No thanks I'll keep my kite!!

I think you're right - geometry is where it's at!

I can see and feel these changes coming and I'm not sure astrology has anything to do with it, they seem to be due. I've been slowly building up to leading a healthier lifestyle exercising more, etc.

I already have the workaholic scenerio going on and I feel that I have achieved the highest level possible where I'm at. The next level would be boss and that's not what I want. I've been planning on starting a creative side career that will last me through the rest of my life and give a sense of autonomy and personal creative outlet.

The 12th house really does have benefits many of which you mentioned. The house also invites you in and says - Paint? music? poetry? art? It also says ruminate? be depressed? ignore reality? After all, it's a Piscean house and Pisces like any sign has it strengths and weaknesses. We get to choose.

I think the whole key to astrology is knowing what the strengths are to a sign, planet, house, aspect etc. and acting from that instead of unconsciously acting from the weaknesses. Maybe that's what you own geometry is calling you to do. So Glaucus - What could be possible if you used emotional strength and sensitivity to step out in an opitimistic expansive way of following a deeply held dream in a responsible way that put forth your best effort??

I realized that considering how slow Pluto moves -though it's going into Cap -it will still take some years to truly get into the 6th house. i guess the lesson is : look ahead in the ephemeris!

I have this natally and it kind of makes me a hypochondriac. Also an obsessive-compulsive perfectionist. I'm obsessed with perfection. Pluto is also conjuncting my Sun 0 deg. so I'm sure that makes it more prominent.
