This morning I've found 2 of my umbrellas to be covered in what I then believed was throw up ( originating from an alcoholic neighbor ). One of the umberellas was borrowed so I was forced to wash it. The gelatinous mass turned out to be some weird kind of dried blood or something. Smelled like blood. Very hard to clean. Actually impossible. I ended up buying a replacement for the friend whose umbrella it was.im stunned. I mean who does that ? I am so freaked out right now. I'm pretty sure that it was some act of paganism because I've known a few similar cases over the years. arghhhh what makes anyone do that?? IP: Logged |

It sounded like bloody vomit, as blood itself seems too thin for me to visualize as gelatinous.IP: Logged |

But my point was that I can't equate the act of purposely befouling an object with "Paganism".IP: Logged |

Evander, paganism is not satanism. Paganism is pretty much nature-loving and doesn't do this weird kinda hoodoo-freaky-freaky. If you're talking Blair Witch Project stuff, then you're talking Satanism or something of the sort. Are you sure your neighbor didn't just barf on an umbrella? Stomach acids can be pretty nasty when someone's an alcoholic. Your neighbor must've horked up pretty violently - if he/she is an alcoholic, then it can get bloody. I hate get all graphic here, but that's what it's coming down to. I see people doing the nastiest sh*t, but I'm not going to call it black magic. I just call it nasty sh*t. Does your neighbor have a gripe with you for you to be considering this stuff? IP: Logged |

People sometimes do disguisting and dispicable things for their own amusement. There's not real thought behind their actions.IP: Logged |

First off, what does this topic have to do with astrology? As this is the Astrology forum.Secondly, I think you were implying practice of the dark occult, the use of negative magick etc, etc. Paganism is NOT Satanism. Pagans usually do not believe in Satan, or the devil, or devils, not to mention worshipping malevolent entities. Pagans do have their ethical codes and avoid initiating harm, but aspire to initiate healing. Paganism is nature spirituality, consists of various non-Christian, non-Muslim, i.e. non-monotheistic religions, spiritual paths, or practices. Please do your research on "Pagansim", thank you. And I agree with all of your excellent points... I'm just saying, be nice (in a general way because everyone was pretty restrained and "nice" and some were downright sweet), because someone sounds scared. And that's the real point here. Sorry it says "Moderator" after my name. I make a stupid joke at a ridiculous time in the morning and it just carries too much weight....
Just being silly and making a fabulous point at the same time imo. IP: Logged |

Really didn't mean to insult anyone. And I don't think it was Satanist act. Paganism is is a word used to refer to various religions and religious beliefs from across the world. There are people around here who offer to throw "black magic" on you. I'm just stunned someone would actually go through with it. I've done my share of barfing and this doesn't look like it. Moderators feel free to delete the topic. as far as astrology goes, maybe this might be considered a Pluto thing? Pluto started conjuncting my uranus; thnx everyone for the support.

Why would you assume it was a neighbor? I may be missing part of the story. Does your neighbor hate you enough to destroy your umbrellas?Maybe it was an animal. I live in Los Angeles and we have possums, coyotes, etc. They make messes sometimes. Or maybe it was a prank by kids or teens. They enjoy that kind of stuff. IP: Logged |

D for Defiant - even Satanists are not like this and many Satanists do not believe in "satan" but rather live by the qualities which mythological satan represents. i know Satanists who are respectful and would not do this to someone.you live near a college campus? that could explain a lot .... I live in this sort of family house thats actually two apartments. I have one neighbour total and he is an alcoholic. Thought he might've gotten sick near his own door. The gate door is locked, so I doubt someone walked in with his dog then climbed two sets of stairs just to do weird stuff to the inside side of the umbrella. No kids around. And no college campuses near by. IP: Logged |

Salt removes blood stains. Put a dab of salt in the cleaning water. Too late now. If it's your own blood and it's a small spot, you can use a bit of string and your own spit. Or so a dressmaker once told me, I saw her do it and it worked. Who would vomit in an umbrella? Someone drunk or high would be my guess. Maybe they thought they were in their bathroom, who knows? He could've vomited blood. Or he could've been doing red jello shots, lol! It sounds like an awful and weird experience.

That sounds really weird and creepy, so no wonder you're freaked out. I wouldn't call it a pagan act though, definitely not - think more along the lines of 'people trying to freak you out with the implication of spooky stuff'. Don't let them succeed in creeping you out. Clean the umbrella with salt, as not only will it clean the blood, salt is used to clear spaces of negative energy and this in itself should make you feel better if you really are worried about creepy stuff (IMO I don't think you need to be, however). Other than that there could be a totally logical explanation like others have mentioned (eg a drunk who so happened to be passing by your umbrella...).IP: Logged |
