We had a really bad glitch this time, and I couldn't repair it, so I had to download the earliest back-up of this Forum (November 23). So, we lost almost all of the Posts between the 24th and 28th. Sorry about that. Feel free to re-post.

Yeah, man what a nightmare. I have been working tirelessly all day. I went to prune (the only way I could access all of the strings) and had to unclick each and every string. It was an all-day job...and then it didn't even work.

Randall

It's a well known fact that prunes have a laxative effect. May have something to do with not being able to hold onto the strings.

You can only do what you can only do. And we know you did your absolute best. Thanks.

Randall,

I appreciate that you have all done in Lindaland. I appreciate your efforts in trying to save the threads as well just everything here. You made it possible for a lot of cool people to talk about a subject that absolutely love.

Peace

Michael E. Brown, a professor of planetary astronomy at the California Institute of Technology who discovered the distant ball of ice and rock that he nicknamed Xena, chose the name Eris, after the goddess of discord and strife in Greek mythology.

"It is absolutely the perfect name," Brown said, given the continuing discord among astronomers and the public over whether Pluto should have retained its planetary status.

In mythology, Eris ignited discord that led to the Trojan War.

"She causes strife by causing arguments among men, by making them think their opinions are right and everyone else's is wrong," Brown said. "It really is just perfect."

this is very odd. i went to boardreader to search a thread i started on the 25th and it's there. i replied to it, and it did not show up HERE in the forum, but it showed up in the thread iself. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/020209.html . i wonder if we could pull them from boardreader somehow since they seem to have them in their database..

Hi Randall,

My Topic:

"NN and our LIFE PURPOSE"

has disappeared, it means I have no Life Purpose.

Doesn't matter: I won't start it again. There are other themes to open.

Hi VM,

Maybe is destiny that Topic’s disappear?

To do the same thing twice is not good.

Now, we will see, how will be the next Topic: interesting or not?
