Aww - don't delete buena. I don't know what the astrological content of your question was. I'm sure there was one because you always include some interesting ones in your threads. But I think it's a cool question.

With Sun, Mercury, Ascendant & Venus in Aries and Uranus in Libra in 6th - Uranus directly opposite Ascendant - oh, and don't forget the Aquarius Moon in 11th - I think world leader! No, I think testing computer games would be AWESOME. Or developing them.

If that's not possible, then taste tester at the Cadbury Chocolate factory. Mars in Taurus in 2nd.

O Buena-the-Impetuous ~

What Uranian activity do you have going on in your chart??

PA ~

I think (these days) that my favorite job would be mattress, waterbed and pillow tester
I could think of so many others too, but you got the best one -- except I choose Godiva instead of Cadbury.....

Love this question! You should undelete and tell us your dream job.

My dream job would be living off the interest of an enormous lifelong trustfund that would never run out or have to be managed. I would do all the things I do now--lots of volunteer work, theatre, writing--but never have to connect my creative work to the sleazy, slimy process of money-making or the creepy structure of corporate capitalism in any way. And I could give $$ to worthy charities, instead of just giving my TIME to one or two.

(I'm Leo Sun/Merc, Virgo Mars in the 8th house; Cap Rising, Scorpio on my Midheaven.)

I whouldn't care if I get paid or not, I whould put the extra hours if I have to.

Discovering new things whould be more then worth any payment.

Your bunny does tempt me, but I needn't be that extravagant, hogging such a humongous article of foodiness all to my onesies

Think I'd rather eat my way thru this building, I could pretend I'm a termite!!

NASA would be sweet. Although, my friends and I always joke that NASA is welfare for people so freaking smart that they can't just fulfill normal jobs, lol. Kathy Griffin, kiddos.

Hi,

Sorry I have deleted all as I had feeling it is not interesting Topic.

Now I want to write my dream job. I was long time in tourism and I did like it. But to be friendly and talk to the people I have to have good health, at least to have something to help me.
After December 2000 I had nothing against my pains. We had no snow, few guests and lots of food.
What I have done: printing all day all about my pains, about aspects in Astrology; have eaten lots of cakes and coffee with cream. That was my job winter 2001. As I have felt worse and worse (pressure on the head) I have left all and moved away.

Now I would like to make Research:
Astrology and Medicine!

If there is next life (I don't want to have any next life), I would like to be Detective!
Education: ballet, foreign languages as also all kinds of martial arts.

I've done all those exercises about imagining what I'd do if all my financial needs were taken care of, and I always get quite stressed out, heheh.. I don't really KNOW what I'd like to do, I get this feeling that in that situation I'd need to do something REALLY useful.

The closest I'd come to that ideal situation would be to own a small farm/ranch, don't know the proper translation for the size and type I've got in mind, with just a few animals, mostly for enoyment. A horse or two, cats, a dog... Living there with preferably a husband and our kids..
But without some kind of *purpose* I think I'd get incredibly restless and maybe a little bored..

Whatever I do I need to have a strong purpose for doing what I do, and that's where it get a little hairy for me, imagining financial freedom..
But why does a paying job seem to have more purpose to me?
And is that purpose really "good enough", after all, if I didn't do that job someone else would? Another thing that's iffy for me about paying jobs is that then you're under the thumb of your employer, you don't have the freedom to work when YOU please, and when you'd like some free time, that wouldn't be up to you..

The question about dream or ideal work have always made my head spin, heheh..

So far I think I'm quite satisfied with what I do now, I'm a security guard, and that is strongly in line with my ideals. I have looked into police work too, I might have gone that route if I'd just had the necessary schooling to get in to the academy, but on the other hand I'm more satisfied with working to PREVENT crime, accidents and enhance safety of all kinds than "coming to the party late".
Either way it's an ungrateful, low status, low paying job.
But it's strongly in line with my ideals, and I have a strong sense of purpose. That takes care of the negative view of my line of work from those so inclined, but the pay could definitely mirror the importance of what we do to a greater degree.

I'd also just like to add that this is the situation in Norway, it might not be exactly like the situation elsewhere in the world when it comes to what kind of services we provide, the pay and people's general idea of our work.

This kind of turned into a rant, sorry about that, heheh..

Hi fluke,

Very interesting: your 3 planets in Libra are in my 1st house.
I am Libra AC with Jupiter, Juno and Chiron in the 1st house.
It seems we like justice and that is reason we like to make justice (you as security guard, me as a detective – next life).

I think to be like Bruce Lee and anybody like him: it is my Mars in Leo in 10th house. The difference is: he was a man and I am woman, but I like movies where women show all their martial arts
