My First question is...How much importance do the moon's nodes actually have? Linda never mentioned them, but she may not have wanted to complicate things 4 the layperson. And if they DO have importance...what is the signifigance of A's North Node in strong conjunction to B's Venus and Saturn? In the synastry chart...both of these planets are fairly well aspected. A's Venus trine b'SB Mercury n Mars...sextile Saturn and Trine Neptune. B's Venus sextile A's Moon and Mercury. Saturn is both trine and sextile Sun and conjunct and sextile Moon.

The other question is...where can i get a progressed chart? I tried to do one...because I heard that when ur progressed NN returns to conjunct ur Natal NN...it's an important event. I tried to do about 4 different people I know and it seems that the progressed NN is conjuncting the Natal NN in all the charts...that can't be right. I must be doing something wrong. Can anyone help?

I forgot to mention....A's NN is in his natal 4th house....and B's Venus n Saturn both conjunct it in A's 4th house. Is that signifigant? Iv heard the angles r very signifigant. Iv never done much more than compare aspects btween 2 charts.not much experience with house overlays.

Thanks so much

The Nodes are very significant. They are responsible for turning points in peoples lives. They are associated with karma and a destiny we must fulfill in this lifetime. I find the nodes to be the most fascinating aspect of astrology. When the transiting nodes conjunct a planet in the natal chart, expect a significant ending in regards to the nature of that planet. But remember with all endings also come beginnings. Just look to where the planets fall in the chart to get an idea of what it means exactly. I recently had a Nodal return which completely changed the course of my life. The N. N was also conjunct my Mars in my sixth house. I stopped working out of the blue and to this day I' still do not have a job. The eclipse pushed me to do something that I wouldn't do without any help. So the ending was my working situation. Now to the beginning, Mars rules my seventh house, and I met a guy at my last job who I think is the person I will marry. The crazy thing is that the eclipse was also conjunct the ruler of his seventh house....

When someone's planets conjunct another's N. N, I'd day this is very significant. As long as the orbs are very tight. Planets conjunct another's N. N mean that the two have karma that will continue into the next life. With Saturn, Venus and The IC involved. I'd say it is a family relationship these two had in the past or are going to have in the future. Are there any conjunctions to the S. N? this will give you an idea of their relationship in past lives and what it meant to them. I'm not an expert at interpreting, but It's just an idea.

You can get a P chart from Astro.com. The only way the P nodes can return to the nodal position is if they were retrograde at birth.

Actually Kismet...it's a guy I have met. They r the inter-aspects btwn our charts. Im confused about the whole thing...it seems we have the absoluteBEST aspects (His Sun, Moon, Mercury and Venus conjunct my Ascendant, My Moon conjunct his ascendant to an almost exact degree...the same in reverse. My Venus n saturn conjunct his NN in HIS 4th house. Lots of other goodies too...the ruler of my seventh and the ruler of his seventh both in harmonious aspect. My DC ruler is venus...his is Mercury/Vulcan (Virgo) And these p[lanets have the double influence of trining and sextiling eachother. These are super dooper...but we also have every conceivable adverse uranus aspect u could ask for. It seems karmic indeed. Do u know how glance at a chart Kismet? If u do...here is the info...

Him: April 2, 1965 4:18 AM Oakland, CA
Me: July 1, 1972 1:10 AM Iowa City, IA

Thank u for your valuable input on NN n progressions! Ill check out the site.

PAST LIFE CONNECTIONS according to Robert Blaschke

Correct me if I'm wrong...

(IC) Your Saturn & Venus conjunct his IC and N.N. The I.C represents the past in every sense of the word and it is very deep indeed. Saturn rules your MC, Venus rules your DC.

(SOUTH NODE) I do not see any S. Node Conjunctions. Conjunctions to the S. N in synastry mean that the couple have been involved in many, many past lives together. So maybe you two were involved in only one, but I see that you definitely having ongoing karma with this man. It may be the beginning of a karmic relationship that will span many lifetimes.

(VERTEX) I also do not see any natal Vertex conjunctions. The Vertex represents fateful encounters. From this point, we would be able to see if meeting him was written in the stars so to speak. The only thing I see is that the composite Vertex is conjunct the composite DSC, supposedly this aspect is seen in the charts of marriage couples often.

(12 TH HOUSE OVERLAY) His Sun, Venus, Saturn, and ASC. All these planets in you twelfth house are definitely karmic, especially because Saturn rules his 12th house.

(ACTIVATION NATAL and P VERTEX) We will not be able to uncover this point until I know the time you guy's met.

What stands out in both your charts are Saturn & Venus and the IC. There's something there that has to do with your past life together that involves these two planets. When I think of Saturn, I think of a father figure and Venus - love. The I.C is about family relationships. I wouldn't doubt if you were apart of this man's family in a past life. If I were you, and you really wanted to get to the bottom of this connection, order the book Robert Blaschke called 'relationship analysis'. Or if you are like me, just set up a consultation with him: http://earthwalkastrology.com/. I think it's worth the money because this man is brilliant. He will open your eyes to the reality of this relationship and I highly recommend him. But, if not the book is filled with tons of information and it contains everything you need to know about synastry. It goes much deeper than you probably would expect. So, I do not recommend this book if you are a beginner..

Oops I didn't see that you posted the day you guy's met. His P vertex is just about forming a conjunction to your natal DSC.

I took a look at the solar returns for this year. His SR Pluto and Vertex are conjunct in his 5th house. Let me just say that this is exactly the same thing that me and my guy both had in our SR charts when we met. It means that the year is going to uncover something passionately significant in a relationship, or a new one.

Ok I better get back to studying.

That's sp helpful and interesting Kismet...I hope u have time to visit this thread and read my thanks!

It's interesting, ecuse...he does seem to "energise" or touch some memories of my father who I lost as a child. Something in the time we spent together fishing on the coast.Something about him too...not just what we were doing. mY FATHER WAS A SALMON FISHERMAN. THis guys likes to catch salmon. Maybe that's all there was to it. Or maybe there is somethingn signifgant..at least..I may be forced to deal with the issue of loosing my father...which I never did. HE didnt die...he just disappeared in Chile while starting up a salmon farm. He just never returned and it hurt my mother to no end (still does, actually) ut we hardly speak of it...because I know its so painful to her. Starnge...but ur words made me think of that. Maybe nothing...maybe something. I may take your advice about the consultation. Tahnk u so much again.

I agree, Blashke`s book is awesome. I keep going back reading it again and again and always find new insights.

I also agree on the importance of the Nodes, IC, Vertex and 12th house for karmic connections.
