I had an ex Sag gf who always told me we are not compatible because I am Virgo and she is Sag and it used to break my heart because I sacrificed a lot to be with her so she bought a book on astrology to prove it to me. I never bought it, I still thought it's a buncha BS because a buncha charts should not stand in your way when you want to be with someone regardless of aspects and what not.

Years later I was given "Love Signs" from an Aries female friend, the first thing I did was go to the Virgo Sag chapter to read it and it made plenty of sense why we weren't compatible.

I was sold eversince ... I mainly use astrology to understand people's psychology and general characteristics of people who fall under certain signs I am intersted in. It's fun and makes it better and easier when communicating with people.

As to what makes me interested from my own chart, I couldn't tell you because I haven't the slightest idea but it could be my love for communications "Mercury in Virgo in the 9th house" yet again I could be wrong.

I won't list any natal aspects that indicate my interest in Astrology because I don't think that they necessarily indicate my interest in Astrology.

I was also skeptical of Astrology, thinking it was B.S. until I found out about moonsigns and that my moonsign was Pisces and had accurate hunch about my mom's moonsign being Scorpio.

It was my grandfather's suicide on January 26, 1998 which led me on a soul,spiritual search that got me into metaphysical things and eventually into Astrology
so it was like his death was the catalyst that opened the door for me to get into Astrology.

Therefore I will list transits and Secondary Progressions that were going on when I started believing in Astrology on June 29, 1998

First....I listed the Cosmobiology Transits which involving on 45 degree divisions of aspects. Therefore,not trines,sextiles,quincunxes,semisextiles are used. I am only using 1 degree orb for transits. Only applying aspects are listed unless the orb is within a few minutes and part of a midpoint configuration.

Transiting Haumea in 3'38 Libra

(this involves a kuiper belt object,and I believe that it has to do with transformation.......I have this object strong in my chart with it conjunct my Ascendant with 2'10 orb and square my Midheaven with 3 minutes of arc.)

I believe that Eris could be co-ruler of Astrology with Uranus. I believe that Eris could be a ruler because of the diversity and discord among Astrologers. Eris is a more divergent energy if you consider it orbits unlike the planets in the solar system. It orbits well off the ecliptic,being a scattered disk object. Its orbit has high eccentricity compared to Uranus.

Uranus discovery chart has significant aspects to Eris and its nodes,Perigree,and Perihelion.

I also see that Mutable signs are taken with astrology, but I think that has to do with the love of data. If anyone can categorize data [and make a business of it] it's Mutables. It seems natural that known astrologers would have some Mutable influence. I'm reminded of bluemoon's thread in Know Two Are Alike where she's started a reference library. I'm also kind of reminded of non-astrologically related figures like Einstein and Alan Greenspan: Data junkies.

Maybe ruler of my ASC Venus in 8th gives also interest for Astrology, but 8th house is more for Esoteric.

My Jupiter in the 1st: it is more there for kind of behaviour or manners. We have good manners and we are kind to other people..
