I was reading some posts here in LL about asteroids. I checked my synastry with my current boyfriend and my last ex.also my mom and dad's.. asteroids are Tristan(1966)-Isolde(211) Lancelot(2041)-Guinevere(2483) Pyramus(14871)- Thisbe(88) For mom and dad no aspects between them. (I only counted the aspects between them, not one of them with planets like A's Isolde conj.B's venus etc..)For me and my current bf no interaspects either.. And here comes me and my ex.. his Tristan conjunct my Isolde (1) his Draco Isolde square my Draco Tristan (0) his Guinevere square my Lancelot (3) his Draco Guinevere sextiles my Draco Lancelot (2) his Thisbe conjunct my Pyramus (0) his Draco Pyramus square my Draco Thisbe(0) I dont even count the planet and these asteroids interaspects.. well sometimes asteroids tell all about a relationship..ours was a very dramatic adulterous one.and surely impossible.. Since it's dramatic/adulterous, I'd also check Arthur to go with your Lancelot/Guinevere.Also Persephone, Aphrodite and Adonis. ANNNNND Paris and Helena IP: Logged |

If you look at Helena and Paris, also look at Oenone (Paris was in love with her and living with her, before he met Helena) oh and Menelaos of course.IP: Logged |

Could someone please sketch again who cheated on whom within these ancient, mythological relationships ...? ;-) (That would help me understand the placements better.)IP: Logged |

Tristan and Isolde - the couple that resonates with me the most. Tristan was sent to Ireland to bring Isolde back to Cornwall as bride to his uncle King Mark(e). It was a marriage that was supposed to secure peace between Cornwall and Ireland. Isolde wasn`t too thrilled, but gave in. She actually didn`t like Tristan after she recognized who he was. Her mother had given her a potion she should be drinking with Marke in her bridal bed. It was a love potion to make it easier for Isolde to be with this man. However, on the way home to Ireland Tristan and Isolde accidentally drank of this potion, which made them fall madly in love with each other, and they well, consumed their love pretty quickly. There are some who say that they wouldn´t have loved each other without the potion, and some who claim the potion just let the inhibitions shrink and make the true nature of their feelings come out. However, both returned to the kingdom. Isolde married King Marke, and yet she continued a secret affair with Tristan over many years. Once they had been exiled from the court to a life in a beautiful meadow. But both couldn`t live outside their court and society, and so they eventually returned. Well, Isolde returned to Marke, Tristan left the court and married someone else instead. Both continued to love each other desperately, secretly, without being able to live their love until they died. Lancelot was a knight at the round table, who fell in love with the king`s wife, Guinevere, and they, too, had a secret love affair. Paris was a Trojan prince, and he loved a nymph of the woods, Oenone, and even had children with her. They weren`t married but living together as husband and wife. However, he then sailed to Greece, met Helena, fell for her and brought her back to Troy,w hich started the Trojan war. It is said that Helena`s and his love only lasted for 8 years, but that Helena still stayed in Troy with him (whereelse could she have been going to?). (It is also said that Venus cast a spell on Helena so that she would love Paris, but that that spell wore off after a certain time).
Pyramus and Thisbes - The Roman / Greece Romeo and Juliet. Another story that is close to my heart. And I just read it played in Babylon (and the babylonian asteroids are pretty strong in my chart).
Pyramus and Thisbe were the children of two neighbours, who hated each other. The only way for them to communicate was through a little slit in the wall. Finally Pyramus and Thisbe decide to run away together and leave Babylon and their families. They want to meet under a certain tree. Thisbe arrives there early, when a lioness attacks her. She manages to escape, but leaves her veil back, which is being torn by the lioness. A little later Pyramus comes and sees the bloody and torn veil and thinks Thisbe has been killed by the lioness. So he commits suicide. Thisbe returns, finds her lover dying and also takes her own life with the same sword. IP: Logged |

DD - thanks a lot for posting these easy-to-understand descriptions of these asteroid-pairings. I'll study these again in my chart (and Synastries) now. Thanks!IP: Logged |
