I'm not complaining or anything ....but it's weirding me out slightly because I'm 35 years old, and since I've turned 28, it seems like a lot of the men I attract are getting younger! When I was 20, I did tend to attract men who were significantly older.

I don't have Saturn in my 7th or anything. Family and friends make comments, so it seems like it is noticeable. I don't have a specific desire for older or younger men, so this is a bit strange to me.

But I believe sunshine_lion is right about the reasons why: Guys are genuinely tired of childish girls.

...and also, women are more empowered now than ever before, increasingly able to change long standing social views of what is expected of them.

Personally, I'm sick of the fleeting lifestyle of the girls I know in my age group (mid-20's). Most of the ones I meet just want to party.

Many want to twist as many guys around their finger as they can, which may be their own 20-something-year-old version of female empowerment, but it's disgusting.

Considering how many of my mid-20-year-old women friends still act like 16 year-olds, I think I'm being naive to assume that age is a sign of mental maturity.

Izo, I guess having my 7th house conjunct Mercury MIGHT explain some of this.

Lexx - that Uranus in the 7th would savor some unconventional arrangements, no? And with Jupiter in there too...wouldn't it work out well? I don't know. It's funny though that you've had the same experience

@ Sunshine_lion & Scorpionic Web - I'm aware of the 'Cougar' trend (I've had an ex call me that on several occasions). I honestly don't know if it's a trend or not for me, but after 7 years, I do wonder.
I don't feel any more mature than I used to though, that's the thing. I don't have my stuff together at all. I love men, period. Whatever age . In some way, I tend to be grateful for the attention because it feels like these men nurture me in some way. They almost feel like they are preventing me from being bitter, and they seem so much more open and caring to me than a lot of men my age which I meet

When I was a lot younger I was extremely cold and closed off and attracted the much older types. Yet the older I've gotten, the more I want to laugh and have adventures with someone, but also want to nurture and take care of another while doing my own thing. Maybe I'm just seeming more 'open' or something. In a way I am a lot more open.

Like attracting like maybe....

When I hear younger men talking about women their age, I'm horrified. I try to sometimes see if I was that way at all when I was 20-something, but I think I was more aloof and shut off, though I was also vengeful and extremely bitter.

I'm looking at my 5th house sun, which has no major aspects. It seems like it might be part of the answer too...

I think of it though and I do feel a lot of younger men seem more open and caring and just less judgmental overall to me. Maybe because I don't 'have it together' financially or whatever in that way, I don't seem to find a lot of men my age who see me as 'dependable' or whatever. I like to have adventures and I work for myself pretty much, and the income isn't 'stable' so maybe they see me as less stable somehow, regardless of my emotional consistency.
But the younger men who come to me are so much more open and interested in my life and don't judge me, aren't afraid to share their own dreams, or even confess their insecurities, and I find that hugely attractive.

So I don't really know. Maybe it's a generational thing too. Pluto in Scorpio generation conjuncts my Venus SO maybe it's like the whole generation of young men are all my soulmates LOL.

i know exactly how you feel because i liked some girl, but she was over concerned with money, she was so open about it too, she was saying how she wud just go for some one whos rich, she won't marry some one whos not rich.

and she is not even older than 20 yet.

that put me off her so much i didn't go ahead with taking it further than being as friendly as we were. lol

and yeh the generation thing is true, unfortunately, my pluto doesnt match urs, thats what probably screwed up my chances. but its ok, i got ur pluto with my venus. altho i prefer to be the pluto lOL!.

you go for some one for love, not money, what does that make the person? i just thought "well, im not gonna pursue some one who puts the relationship between us under pressure based on how i perform financially in the future. its enough pressure performing in bed for woman". lol
